Compact Yet Incredibly Solid – Perfect for Heavy Gear and Travel
This GM27 fluid head from Neewer is an absolute gem. It’s incredibly solid and well-built, and despite its compact size, it easily supports my camera with the Sigma 150-600mm lens, a setup that weighs nearly 3 kg. Even with the lens fully extended, the head holds everything firmly and securely when locked, while still offering smooth and fluid movements for panning and tilting. Its compact form factor is perfect for travel, wildlife excursions, or hiking — where every gram and inch matters. The build quality is excellent, and I especially appreciate the integrated Allen key compartment, so you always have the tool you need within reach. Thoughtful design like this makes a big difference in the field. One of my favorite features is the +/-10° leveling bowl. Being able to quickly and precisely level the camera on uneven terrain has saved me so much time and frustration. After using this feature, I honestly can’t imagine going back to a head without it — it’s become essential in my workflow. If I had to mention one drawback, it would be that while the handle is detachable, it’s clearly optimized for right-side use. When mounted on the left, it doesn’t feel as natural or balanced — something to keep in mind depending on your shooting preferences.Overall, this is an outstanding tripod head for both photo and video work, especially for heavy gear in the wild. Highly recommended.

Works well with my mirrorless camera and a 5 lbs tele zoom lens
Easy setup, the knurled knob to tighten the arca swiss plate is very useful (prefer this over other products with a tension clip, which needs adjustment with a hex screwdriver as not all arca swiss plates are the same size). You will however need a large screwdriver or a coin to tighten the provided mounting plate securely to the camera (the little foldable D-Ring on the screw does not provide sufficient grip). The panning/tilting motion is very smooth, the resistance for each axis is separately adjustable to match the weight of the camera and lens. The level gauge is slightly hard to see once everything is mounted. I see this as a consequence of the compact design.Overall feels like a solid product, rather compact and lightweight, and at least while it is new, good quality.Note: this video head actually comes with a small hex wrench, which is hold magnetically inside. I have yet to figure out what to use it for. The wrench fits my monopod from a different brand, so it may come in handy one day.

Small But Mighty
I purchased this tripod head for my Amzdeal tripod, which is also pretty solid. I'm running a Canon R-10 camera with a variety of lenses. When I opened the package, I was surprised how small and compact this fluid head is but, when I attached it to my tripod, I was impressed. It's solidly build and balances nicely. I certainly wouldn't try a 500mm lens or anything like that but it's still very nice for the price. As long as you have a sturdy tripod, maybe something that can be weighted down with a sandbag or some other weight to help with stability, you will get fluid pans and tilts. Fine tuning the locking controls helps make things move smoothly. Hopefully it lasts but, for now I am giving it 5 stars.

Pretty decent but still some to be sought after..
I like the compact size of this and the quality seems to be there not without paying the price in weight. It's a heavy little head but it does pretty good. The handle is probably the biggest downside of the whole thing. It unscrews to telescope out but can easily unscrew and fall off if you're not paying attention. I wish it had some type of screw lock or detent, that isn't inline with handle, to keep it from backing out. Other than that its a great head.. smooth movements, doesn't seem to drift all that much, it's quiet, and doesn't take up much room. I use it to self film hunts and overall happy with the purchase.

Solved a problem for me
Recently, I have begun to delve into intentional camera movement photography. While I had a very good ball head, it could not prevent 'unintentional' camera movement while taking a photo. The unintentional part comes with age, very difficult to not shake even on a tripod with a long exposure.Saw a number of fluid, pan and tilt heads to consider. Truthfully, price, and the good reviews lead me to this choice.Price, because I didn't want to spend a lot if my idea didn't work'Problem solved. Just had the opportunity to setup and take a few trial shots. Worked perfectly. The intentional movement was vertical, there was NO wiggle when completing the shot. Will definitely improve my work. Now it is up to me to get everything else right. An update. As mentioned earlier, this was purchased to provide me with the stability to take long exposure photographs, while intentionally moving the camera. The attached photo was a 5 second exposure, and I was able to sweep the camera from left to right to obtain the desired result with no vertical motion, no jerk while panning.Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality pan and tilt head .
