I got one of these for my car and the first time I used it, it didn't sort the coins quite right. I have found that if I only put in a couple of coins at a time, it works great! So if you have a lot of change you end up with (mine's from my morning coffee stop on the way to work) this works well for keeping the coins sorted out (and not making holes in your pants pockets).

So many things wrong with this! I thought this would be great, I have so much change in my car cup holder, that this would help to sort, AND dispense the correct change on my frequent drive thru purchases where I am always fumbling around for the correct change. First annoyance, the top lid on the thing has no means to stay securely in place, I had to TAPE it on! I install the battery, under the very awkwardly placed battery compartment under the power switch. I put a few coins in the hopper and it began sorting them nicely into the correct coin tubes.Then the coins began to slide sideways into some outside their coin tubes. Simple tapping did not realign them. More and more coins were going in sideways, so I saw a single screw on the bottom of the coin dispenser that looked like if I removed it, the errant coins would simply drop out and straighten things out... BIG MISTAKE!!! removing that bottom screw caused the entire coin dispensing mechanisms to fall apart ...springs, sliders, platforms... I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO PUT THIS STUPID THING BACK TOGETHER!!! The company does have a number to call for help, and they do have what seems to be a solid guarantee... But do I want to bother to pack the thing up, pay for shipping??? I don't think so.The product "looks" nice, is made in USA, but performs terribly. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

I just ordered my third one. I love this change organizer; I use it so much that they wear out because of the use not because it is a cheap product. It sorts my change and it is easy to dispense the money from it. I am sure when this one wears out I will be ordering another one for my car.

Not a very good item for sorting coins nor getting them out.The coins wind up going sideways or in other coins area.When trying to get the coins out in the car .... more than one usually falls out and winds up hitting the floorboard ... also the mechanism for getting the coins out just came off completely as I was trying to get quarters out. I got quarters out. I got them alright the whole column of them. :(

Not a ton of space for coins and the lid falls off easily otherwise works great

The sorter puts coins in any holder. Penneys with quarters, dimes with nickels, etc. Sometimes it places the coins between the holders. When that happens you have to dump all the coins out and start over. It doesn't matter if you put in several coins at once or one at a time. This thing just does not work! Dont't waste your money.

First, the springs on the coin dispensers easily break off. Also it frequentlySorts the coins incorrectly so it was basically useless
