The Lee Precision perfect powder measure does not cut or bind. Micrometer adjustment. Includes powder measure and mounting stand with screws. Will drop from 2 grains to 100+ grains. Review: Good value and pretty accurate - A slight variation at times with the flake powder sticking the the tube wall. A good value for money powder measure. Review: Excellent at any price - I had heard that this cheap little powder measure was good and now that I own one I have to agree that it is excellent. The design is brilliant and it works as well as units several times this price. I cannot fault it. Easy to fill, easy to empty, easy to adjust. The hopper has a close valve and lifts off easily. Well done Lee.

Good powder dropper
Used it on nitro and black powder, it does leak a little when in use, but I knew this before I bought it, and by a little I mean a tiny amount. I just put paper down to catch it and tip it back after loading. That’s my only gripe, other than that it’s a cracking and accurate little loader for a very cheap price. 4 stars because of the slight leakage.

Good
The accuracy will alter a little depending on how full the hopper is, I generally fill it up, then calibrate it. When I'm using it, as the powder level gets to about half I'll top it up again. Found doing this it'll generally stay within .1 of a grain which is accurate enough. If you let it get nearly empty it will then start dropping the load maybe .2/.3 of a grain which isn't the end of the world anyway but better to be more precise.

Functional, but flawed
This item does work, but it's fiddly to use, and not as sturdy as the pictures would have us believe. With small loads (< 4 gr) it's accurate to within about 0.2 gr either side, which isn't great, but probably is as good as you can get without a trickler. The "micrometer" adjustment does allow for very fine control of the load, but the calibration doesn't mean much and, with small loads, the measured weight of the load does tend to drift with time. So you probably can't rely on the micrometer reading for setting the load -- you still need to weight, at least periodically. The metal stand is a bit springy, so the whole assembly moves a little in operation. The unit needs to be fastened to a heavy or rigid base, but that alone is not enough to stop the wobble. The biggest problem I have with this unit is that the operating handle is neither spring-loaded, nor long enough to push up cleanly with one hand. Both the upward and the downward motion are against friction, so I need to change my hand position with each load. This doesn't sound like a big deal, but it rapidly gets irksome. It feels as if bits of powder get into the rotating mechanism, because the action isn't really as smooth as it could be. The spout is too large to load small cases directly -- you need a funnel or something. All in all, it's OK, but would probably be better for large cases, where the inaccuracy in the load is less noticeable. I am using this, but I can't say I'm entirely happy with it.

Amazing repeatability
I've been using the lee powder measure that came with my reloading kit and was amazed by the repeatability and accuracy of the device bearing in mind the price. I reload different calibres so bought this to suppliment the one that came with the kit to save having to readjust for each load.

I got into reloading recently, and picked up this powder measure. The price was right, and I have had mostly good experiences with my other Lee products. - You can rotate the powder reservoir to the left to "close" it, and pull it off to empty it when you are finished. Not sure if you can do this with other powder measures but this feature is very convenient, especially if you have it fastened down to a bench. - The directions say to run a full reservoir of powder through it before you do anything else. This is to "coat" the internals, and eliminate any static cling. If you don't do this, you will get progressively heavier charges. In my experience, I had to run three full reservoirs through before the measurements completely stabilized. I highly recommend others do this as well. After that initial step, this powder measure has been amazingly accurate and reliable. After 100 rounds (checking every 10th), it still throws exactly what it was originally set at. - The only negative I can find with this is that it seems kind of flimsy in construction. It probably could have been built a little stronger. But honestly I can't see anything breaking on this. It's built strong enough to do it's job. People like to hate on Lee products, but at the end of the day this thing is ACCURATE and it WORKS. I'm glad I got this instead of spending close to $100 on a similar product from another brand. Buy this thing, and use the money you save towards other reloading equipment/components.

Excelente, es muy repetitivo en las cargas, perfecto para la recarga de pistola, ahorras mucho tiempo, lo recomiendo ampliamente

I have been using this to reload 9mm, 10mm and 223 for plinking. It has been extremely accurate, unexpectedly so. The drum is plastic, unlike the more expensive models from RCBS, Lyman, etc., but that is okay. The downside to plastic is that when measuring the powder (ie. moving the handle up and down) it doesn't have a nice smooth feel. However, feel is much less important to me than the accuracy of the powder weight being dropped. I have found that each charge is within .1gr of the others! The adjustment dial is a little finicky, but it's not too bad. Overall, for the price of this unit compared to the significantly more expensive metal body models, I am very satisfied. Again, the only downside is the rough feel of the drum as you pull the handle. Note: I have used this with a bunch of different powders including ball, flake and extruded. Some powders do work better than others, as with all powder droppers, but the accuracy is still there. With some powders, a bit will possibly leak out the side of the drum over time, but it is negligible.
