Had such high hopes for this product. I think it would be great. Doesn't fit over my socket at all, my socket goes very high and is strange shape. I tried and could feel instant relief on the part it did wrap around tho. It's material seems very strong and of good quality.

This did not work for my socket. I have one of the newest types of socket called a soft brim (see pics). It has a flexible rubber strip on the inside of the socket at the top. Even though I measured the socket correctly this didn't even come close to fitting and I don't think it will work for my type of socket because all it did was fold over the rubber part and make it impossible for my leg to get in. I tried emailing their customer service to see if I could try a larger size and they referred me to Amazon. However, Amazon said this item is unreturnable (even though I told them I never tried it on) so I guess I have an expensive sock to dust the house with now. I do not have the sheath with me because I am travelling but when I get home I will post a pic of what it looks like on my socket

I like the fact that it feels like nothing is there, but Because it's thin, I'm still feeling the rubbing.

This product does not work for an oval base cone, which is the closest type of shape for my socket.The size for the socket where the silicone grip grip is located is good, but the top, the corner, the size of the sleeve that goes inside is too small and will not work for me. This sleeve is very hard to install in my opinion as well. It is one more accessory for the junk pile.

Definitely help even in the humidity and summer heat of Tokyo,Japan.

Suffered with sores at the edge of my prosthesis. Since I started using the prosthetic brim sheath no such problem. I can now walk with relative comfort. Liked it so much I ordered another one just a week later.

It is very comfortable and has solved the pinching issue that I had. I told my prosthessis about this product and he is looking into getting them for his other patients. Great product!

Seems to be made with quality materials. Unfortunately, if you have to lube your socket and/or sleeve & ring, this device is useless. It will wipe all the lube from your ring before you can get into the socket.
