Good quick clamp for home use barbell
Wanted a quick releasing barbell clamp for my 1" barbell for home use. I am not sure how well these would be in a commercial or professional setting, however for my home use they are serving their purpose. The product is easy to use - a quick lift on the pressure release clamp and its slides on or off a 1" barbell. The clamp seems to hold the weights I am using in place - I have not tested with significant weights yet - maybe nothing more than 50-60 lbs on one side. These seem to work best on a smooth finished barbell verses a barbell with grooves (where you have a spin lock collar or screw clamp). On this type of set up it does seem to slip a bit more, however, I wanted to get away from a squeeze lock/clamp and spin lock clamp to be able to change out weight quicker between exercises.Again, for the home use I am using it for it works well and was at a good price point.

Effective and easy to use
Love this product so much! It’s made loading weights on and off so much easier on our barbell with the screw-on ends. Definitely make sure it is the right size though.

So far so good.
I just received this product today. I ordered them yesterday. I read a few reviews and decided to purchase them. I used them today and so far so good. They are easy to use and easy to remove. I didn't have any problems with putting them on my bar. Perfect fit, nice and snug. I have a e-z curl bar with the screw on clips to secure the weight on the bar. I used the new clamps on those and they were a little loose(not falling off easy loose). Like the review I read said I wouldn't do hammer curls or dumbbell skullcrrushers with them because with heavier weight they might slide off. For the bar I loaded 135lbs and they were good. For dumbbells I loaded 31lbs for each and they held pretty good a little slide but not enough to exercise caution or fear of weight falling off. I will update my review on their durability because I just got them today again. Price wise they're great. Honestly I didn't know they even had clamps for 1 inch bars. I purchased two sets and they work well. Try them out

A Decent Collar
In my early usage of these collars, they are pretty good. I don't know how long they will last as they are plastic but for $11 its not bad. As other reviews have said, they slide on and off with ease on threaded bars but from what they were saying, it sounded like these wouldn't go on a non-threaded bar at all as they were too tight. But I took a chance and got them anyway. While they don't slide on with ease, they aren't what I had pictured to be impossible to get on, based on reviews. They go on quickly enough and are tight when clamping is applied. I tried wiggling the weight to see if they would walk down the bar and they stayed put. And the clamp is not impossible to close on the bar nor does it give me the impression that I am stressing the clamp itself. Perhaps my 1" bar is slightly different from others, who knows. But it gives me a comfort level that the weight is secure better than my spring collars. Again, this is an initial review so we'll see how they work as I put them through their paces. I would not trust these (as I wouldn't trust any spring collar) for any overhead dumbell exercises. People doing that are just asking for injury. So in conclusion, the price isn't terrible and I can say I like these collars and they perform adequately. We'll see about longevity in the coming months/years but at this point, I would recommend.

Too tight to be used as advertised.
The media could not be loaded. The barbell is usually 1 inch +/- 1/10 of an inch. The collar is .86, or .14 smaller. As you can see in the video, not only the collar needs force to slide on the barbell but it will not close regardless of how much force I apply. The collars are useless.I want a refund.

Tight fit *updated - broken
Have barely used these since gyms reopened but currently back in lockdown so training at home again. Put these back on the bar this morning and one snapped. Very disappointed. Will try a different brand.Super tight initially. Had to leave them closed on the bar for a couple of days to compress the rubber a little

DANGEROUS - DO NOT BUY
25 lbs on one side of the bar. 1st-time use. Tilted just a little and the next thing I know, all the weight plates and this stupid clamp slid off and smash into a picture nearby. Tried again as thought maybe I did not clamp them down. Nope. Slid off again. Not funny. Someone could get hurt. These clamps came recommended with the bar purchased on amazon at the same time.

Cheap Plastic Breaks
The clips broke after only a few normal months of use, the cheap plastic snapped making the clips completely unusable, must be a design fault with the clips as they both broke at pretty much the same place.Won’t be buying plastic clips again!
