IT WORKS!
I've been wanting to try an eye shadow primer for a long time (since watching vapid makeup tutorials during this pandemic) but was hesitant because of the cost. I didn't have high hopes for this Revlon one because it was so inexpensive. When I first put it on it creased right away on my lids so that wasn't a good sign but as I blended it in I found out that it melts into your lids (again, another bad sign, I thought). So I put my eyeshadow on, forgot about having the primer on, and was amazed that my eye shadow hadn't ended up in my creases after a long day of doing....... nothing! I thought this must be some kind of fluke so I tried it again and AGAIN my eye shadow did NOT budge. Now that I've found a product that actually does what it states and that is reasonably priced they'll probably discontinue it, lol.

I take EYE make up...
...very seriously bcz a well done eye can mean the difference of feeling confident all night vs feeling self conscious all night. -> This Revlon primer is sheer when blended out and only leaves a slight tackiness on the lid which can be easily dealt w/using a bit of translucent powder or a flesh toned eye shado if smooth lid is preferred. -> This primer is very lightly pigmented which does little to zero to discoloration, uneven tones or textured lid BUT it does help shadows stay put for a full work day without a 2nd thought. -> It works well with mattes & satins and works surprisingly well under cream shadows too. -> just a little trick I've used time & time again is dabbing a little bit of eye primer over spots and unbroken zits and then going over it with foundation or concealer. That pimple stays foundation-ed all. day. long. girl. -> The Revlon primer is not much help for the more textured, mature or lined lids. However, to be fair, you have to look for primers specifically formulated for mature/textured lids to be of any real help with that issue...and this Revlon primer is not. -> Revlon has priced this beautifully and fairly at about $5 for about a third of an ounce (which is standard). Eye primers, IMO, marked @ $10+ I will IMMEDIATELY mentally red flag as a cash grab scam. Think about it: $20 (some are more!!) for eye primer that are, generally speaking, sold in 1/3 ounce containers mean that one gallon (which contains 128 ounces) would make the per gallon price of that eye priner $7,680. C'mon people! If we say NO with our wallets, they will say YES to more reasonable price points. -> This eye primer does NOT easily flake or get all line-y and crease-y. -> lastly, bcz this Revlon eye primer is sheer and blends & spread evenly on the lid, medium to deep dark complexioned men & women can apply this product with no worry of a grey or white cast showing up when it dries. -> I confidently reccomend this eye primer. <-

Great eyeliner and eyeshadow primer
I could not find this item at my local stores so I ordered from Amazon. This is a great product that I use daily. This little tube will last a long, long time, as you don't need much. It keeps my eye liner and shadow in place all day long. I have an oily complexion, and this solves any problem by keeping my makeup in place. It is gentle and soothing. It actually makes your makeup go on easier. It is in the Revlon Color Stay line of cosmetics, which I trust.

It’s an okay eyeshadow primer. My picture reflects what it looks like after after about 16 hours (6:30 am-10:30 pm). Yes, that’s a long time, so my result kind of makes sense for a primer at this affordable price point. This primer is best for looks that are within the 8-12 hour range. Anything past that, my eyelids get oily and my shadow is ruined. The consistency is thin. I have better results with the Milani primer, which has caused no issues at the end of 16 hours. So, if you’re looking for a cheap option that will get you through most of your day, I’d say the Revlon primer is probably okay for you.

Very comparable to expensive primers.
I loved this, I bought in a pinch for a trip when I realized my usual UD Primer Potion was out & I wouldn't be able to go to get it replaced in time for leaving. My trip was in Florida, so trial by fire for any primer, much less untested lol. The texture was very very soft, slightly oily, moveable so that made me weary, was afraid it wouldn't dry down but that actually was a plus because you could easily glide it all over the lid with ease, was a nozzle bottle so no doe foot so you can control just how much you used, the dry down was not long, I just did my brow routine to let it dry but it was maybe a minute before it wasn't sliding or creasing-the creasing doesn't last or is a sign of too much. My initial trial & error. Application of shadow was a dream honestly, no drag or patchiness due to the primer's formula, it is pigmented like UD's OG but sheers out so it isn't really a taupe base. The best part is my makeup stayed on & fresh from morning straight through to night in 95 plus degree weather with humidity without creasing or fading to nothingness.

Great primer for the price!
I bought this as a gift for my sister because she's always complaining that her eyeliner transfers to her upper eyelids halfway through the day. We were going on a trip to Florida, so I decided it was the perfect opportunity to get her some eye makeup primer to try out (heat and humidity is usually transfer city!). She wore it every day, and it really helped her makeup stay exactly where she put it. One or two of the days, she did start getting transfer toward the end of the day (maybe after 12 hours of heat, sweat, sunscreen, etc.), but we were both very impressed by how effective this primer is. Especially at this price point. I'm so glad I could get her something that works!

Love This Product!
I have purchased this for years and will continue to do so. I used to purchase a much more expensive product at the Cosmetics Counter at one of those large department stores, but who goes to the mall anymore? This works just as well for about half the price. All you need to do is squeeze out a pea-size portion and (I recommend) you apply it with the tip of your finger. Skip the brush - it lasts longer this way. I apply it on my eyelid, up to the brow and under eye. Shadow, liner and pencil stays on all day!
