Beware. Very sluggish laptop
After buying this laptop for my daughter for Xmas I have since struggled with the same issues as a past review I copy and pasted below. The processor is very slow. CPU was at 100% capacity with only a couple of Microsoft office apps. Really struggled. I wish they had not used poor processor and not mislead us. It is at 1.5ghz Beware buying this laptop. The processor is not a 2.8 GHz fast processor but when checked in Windows System, only runs at a sluggish 1.5 GHz. And the screen is sub full HD at 1366x768 pixels, not Full HD (FHD) with very bad image quality. Also. there is only a slot to replace the tiny 256GB SSD internal hard drive but no technical specifications are given as to what M.2 2280 PCI SSC card can be used to replace this (with a decent 1 or 2 TB SSD hard drive). There is no other flap that can be unsrewed to replace the poor 8 GB DDRA4 RAM, with very cheap but much faster 16 or 32 GB DDR4 RAM. I was also unable to find any technical specifications sheet anywhere on the internet. It looks like they use components randomly, whatever the cheapest is they can find, rather than the same components which would have the same specifications? This laptop is only something for the very casual user, not for anyone who likes to tune up the laptop to make it more usable with heavy on memory programmes like the MS Office Suite or the now processor and memor wise evenmore demanding Windows 11 operating system

Fabulous price for a very useful work laptop
I really liked the unfussy way this arrived in a simple white box with "Laptop" on it. I got it for using whilst I was away temporarily in Italy so that I could continue to work in whatever circumstances I found myself. It was perfect, light, quick to start up, fully up-to-date with software and all the connections I needed. I bought a separate mouse as I found the finger pad not to my liking in terms of responsiveness and the corner buttons. The keyboard covers were useful for hygiene and for travelling if I needed an alternative version of characters. The price was excellent, it was part of the Prime offers and did go up noticeably afterwards, not sure of its price now.

Good laptop but only at a price!
1.) Firstly, this item has been sold for very different prices on Amazon UK. I see this laptop as being good value but only between £200 - £300. Above this price there are much better options with higher specs from Acer, Lenovo, Asus etc. I was fortunate enough to get this for £209-95p in the Amazon sale. 2.) First time installing - Installation was smooth except for the keyboard which Was not 100% UK compatible- This issue was easily resolved by adding the UK plastic cover that came with the laptop (along with many other countries covers). I found this fitted neatly and made typing a little smoother which is a plus. It also meant that crumbs etc spilt, would not get trapped inside the keyboard! 3.) This laptop I feel is NOT ideal for gaming, as it is simply not powerful enough to handle other then low spec games without stuttering etc. Having said that the 4 quad Celeron processor is fine for browsing etc. It is not as good as the Intel i3, or the AMD Ryzen 3 which is understandable. Having said that it is decent for basic tasks. 4.) Reading some of the negative reviews regarding the battery charger, I can only say that so far that has not been an issue for me. However I only purchased this laptop 13th October 2023. From what I have read many negative reviews found that issues were experienced within a few days after purchase. 5,) I noticed also some bad reviews re touchpad sensitivity, I read that For Windows 11, Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad and open the Taps menu to change touchpad sensitivity. I am not sure if this works or not. I believe that there may also be an option to turn off the tap-to-click features. 6.) I am a buyer just like yourselves. I have NO specialist computrer knowledge at all. I hope that my review will be helpful. Good luch everyone - Howard:)

Poor Quality, even at the Price. Buy better.
Exceptionally poor quality. The touchpad is by far the worst I've ever used on a laptop - frequently being unable to differentiate from left/right clicks. The keypad might as well not exist for all the quality it provides. I bought it in Black Friday sale and feel like it was a bad purchase decision. Laptops are genuinely things which you cannot go too cheap on, I'm afraid.

Within 6 months the flaws get more and more blatant
Initially this seemed great for what I paid for it. Sure the CPU was decidedly unimpressive but it was still up for some indie gaming like FTL, and for work it was more than enough thanks to the decent amount of memory. Then the trackpad decided to start playing up. It's tempermental to the extreme. Sometimes it does what it's supposed to. Sometimes it fails entirely, and then there's the times it does random stuff like clicks for the fun of it. The keyboard doesn't bother me too much, as I'm a good enough touch typer for it not really to matter, but yeah as others have mentioned they're basically invisible without bright light source on them. What got me to review it though is the power has now gone just as tempermental. Now it requires plenty of jiggling and twisting around until it finds the exact angle and amount of pressure to be able to charge, and don't you dare shift it from that exact spot as it will stop. I got this for just over 200 quid, so I can't be mad enough to give this a single star, as mostly even with its faults it is still a reasonable laptop for that price. If you got it for more than that though this is daylight robbery. Get a laptop from a much more reputable brand cause this ain't one.
