Came already spoiled
It's my third bottle of this oil, but the first one from this shop. Sorry to say it's extremely disapppining as it came spoiled, although its more than a year before its due to expire. Texture is supposed to be smooth, but it is all with small hard SOMETHING, which is not supposed to be there and not safe to use. VERY DISAPPOINTING

My son is on the gaps diet so we buy this product during the winter and I have to say my son has a glowing skin like he has been sun kissed. I would highly recommend it to anyone that needs a top up on their vitamin D. Best product on the market.

Great!
Best of both worlds! The butter oil and cod liver oil combine really well into an easily palatable supplement. Doesn't taste too strong or leave my throat burning like some cod liver oils do by themselves. Best quality oil supplement on the market in my opinion. Will definitely buy more once my supply runs out.

Switch to the capsules if you can but keep taking it!
This is an excellent supplement, purchase this for your health not for the taste.It smells, no denying it, it has s strong and off putting smell to it. The texture is oily and thick at the same time - like congealed, sat there for too long, solidified fat. In the summer leave it in the fridge to keep it solid and its easier to swallow. Leave it out for too long before taking and it will melt into a gloopy, oily mess, which is much harder to take and messier to clean up. We keep it solid, stick it to the roof of our mouths and swallow with some fresh orange juice. Even with this 'technique' my daughter had real issues with the taste, texture and smell and initially would throw it back up. She got used to it, as did we all and we began to reap the benefits.We have all felt an improvement in our health. We have been through 2 winter without getting any noticeable illnesses, any minor sniffles which we see taking others days or weeks to clear haven't lasted in our household for more than a few days.I have seen a marked difference in my children ability concentrate and focus on their homeschooling.My son had rickets when he was younger and I have also suffered with Vitamin D deficiency related aches. Since taking these my sons Vitamin D levels have always measured well within the normal range.I took this in more than double doses throughout my recent pregnancy and have seen no adverse effects on myself or my baby who was born with no health concerns and at a normal weight.We have now switched to the capsule form, as the children are old enough to swallow them. yes its a little more expensive but more bearable each morning. I would recommend this to all as a necessity for general wellbeing.

Take 2 capsules approx. 2 hours after breakfast and 2 capsules approx. 30-60 minutes before workout. During non-training days take 2 capsules before lunch and 2 capsules before dinner.
