Very sturdy and easy to install
When looking for casters for my work table I was way confused about what to get, and price differences. I bought several sets from different brands over the years and frankly they are all very similar, with some details that are different. Let me share my experience:1. does your table have a hollow base vs a 3/8 screw? My racks came with the screw, and my table came with hollow legs. The hollow legs take these expanding rubber mounts that works great is seems sturdier and easier to install2. what kind of brake? This type here the brakes are on the side, there are variants where the brakes are set over the wheels itself. The side type here seems to work a bit better, though not a big difference3. How many brakes...the price difference between sets seem to be determined by how many wheels have brakes...some set have 2 wheels with brakes, some have 4 with brake4. Weight bearing..this drive me a bit crazy...but frankly they all handle about 250-300 lbs per wheel when similar in size..despite some set claim 1000lb capacity and other 1200lb capacity per set. I happen to buy on of each and they are identical.5. Size of the wheel itself. For $50 set of 4 with all 4 with brakes...I wanted brakes on all wheels b/c some times I have to turn the table and the wheels with brake can be hidden....better to spend $6 more for brakes on all 4 wheels...and they are sturdy and work very well.

Grease the Disks
I got these for a commercial stainless table. They're fantastic, BUT you have to know how to install them. Here's the trick: remove the knurled disk from each caster. Apply grease to the rubber. Replace the disk. Now you can tighten the disk and expand the rubber easily.I could not get these things to tighten up enough to fit my table's legs, but the bigger rubber pieces were too big to go in. Once I applied grease, the rubber expanded just fine, and I was done in a few minutes. I saved about $20 over the casters from Webstaurantstore.

Fits 1 1/4" ID Tubing with "Persuasion"
I needed an expanding stem caster for a worktable I built with SteelTek tubes and joints from Lowes. They are about 1 1/4" Inside Diameter (ID). It's a tight fit, but it works with some "Persuasion". I had to file the inside ridge left over from cutting the tubing and the top metal serrated washer on the caster. Then a little water and dish soap for lube on the rubber expanding caster stem. Used a dead blow hammer (don't use a metal hammer it will damage the wheel) and applied the proper amount of force. It slid right in after some pounding on the wheel bottom and caster base. No damage to the wheels at all. These are some TOUGH casters and a better deal than most others. Buy them.
