Rockford Fosgate Punch P3-1X12-30cm Gehäuse-Subwoofer

The punch p3 subwoofer is OK and gets loud enough. If you're a bass head or always have the feeling of wanting more bass then this sub won't last you long. You always feel like you need more. Baring in mind I have this installed in a hatchback so if you have a saloon or coupe then this problem will be even more prevalent.The box is absolutely rubbish. I contacted rockford fosgate support and the box is tuned to 37Hz. The box is very thin and flexes a lot under load. So do not even think about mounting your amp onto this subwoofer enclosure unless you want to destroy your amp. The biggest problem with this box is that the port is too small and the port makes a chuffing noise that is present through all volume levels and can even be heard in the cabin. Very poor from rockford fosgate that the port chuffs so much. Adding to this the subwoofer has no low end bass at all in this enclosure its has peaky midbass but don't expect to hit the lows as they are non-existent below 35hz. I will add a video demonstrating the terrible port noise.
