In The Dark (Blake Larsen) Paperback – February 7, 2023

Fast paced. Good character development. Well structured plot that holds together. Worth taking the time to read - I finished it in one day visiting my mother in the hospital.

A little slow getting started but an interesting story. I would read other books in this series. Good bad weather read

I enjoyed this book a lot. I read the second in the series some time ago so it’s good to start at the beginning. I think this will be an excellent series.

And the epilogue implies future adventures and mystery. We have a wonderful set of characters and likely romance for the future of the series.This book has a strong mystery with hints and twists and turns.The Kindle Unlimited came with an Audible version which is how I primarily listened with a good narrator.

Did her brother kill himself? Was he taking drugs? Both were very out of character…A couple subplots, a romantic interest, checks all the boxes, and well written. Was a kindle unlimited book, so well worth the price! Lol.

Not much to this one as seek/chase scenes play out and lead to a short inevitable showdown. Some stupid decisions from our protagonist too to keep the pages going. You can glide over paragraphs and not miss anything, perhaps reflecting the overall lack of complexity. Won't continue with the series and am also unlikely to seek more out more by the same author. 5/10

Another great beginning of an action series. Another good hero with life issues, but comes through. I think it is a great read even if cop action is not your normal subject.

I love a story that is up to date and new. I really enjoyed this story. Can’t wait to read more!

Jack always writes books that you can't put down. They are full of action, good story lines and you often feel very close to real life. The story is not obvious Diane definitely is a book that you want to keep reading. My only complaint is that I finished it too quickly.I can't wait for the next Blake Larson book.

Have never read a book from this author before. Found it hard to put down and go to work in the morning and bed at night. Thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading next.
