The plug is not Australian even though purchased on Amazon.com.au and unfortunately the listing doesn’t mention what country the plug is for. Do not buy if you’re in Australia. I can’t comment on the item itself as I haven’t been able to use it yet.

The globe is good. Just as described. I’ll give more of a review on the globe itself below but first I’d say it’s $50 brand new, and I was a cheepo and purchased a “like new” used one for $46 with tax. Big mistake. I’m not sure how to review Amazon’s delivery so I’ll have to put it in the comments. I should have spent a few extra bucks and probably had better delivery. I expected the box to be less than perfect but I didn’t expect it shipped in the product packaging, banged up, and looking like it was kicked around. I planned on this being a gift for my dad, he saw this globe in a catalogue and I found the identical one on Amazon so I figured I’d make his day and get it for him. I figured it didn’t need to be in a pristine box, I was going to tell him it was used and he’s the kind of guy who’d be impressed I was thrifty, but this makes it kind of embarrassing. Also, another concern is when I picked up the box from my porch the first this I noticed was the sound of something rattling around, when I got the box open and lifted out the globe it was something in the globe, sounded like a marble or something rolling around. I plugged it it and the light didn’t work so I figured it may be something with the bulb, I was worried something was broken. I was able to easily use an Allen wrench to remove the globe from base, so that was a positive, and discovered that the bulb wasn’t screwed into the socket. It was also wrapped up in packaging tape, I’m not sure if someone tried to secure the bulb but it was a fail. I was able to carefully remove the tape and needed to use an alcohol swab to remove the sticky tape residue from the bulb, but luckily when screwed back in it worked. So I can attest that the bulb is pretty durable. Since someone clearly tried to prepare the bulb for packaging it could have been done more securely. The globe did illuminate nicely when put back together. I didn’t take any actual photos of the globe but it’s just like pictured. If you’re not a cheapskate like me and pay full price you probably have no problems with it. I’d only point out that you should look at the measurements in the description, it is true to advertised size but smaller than a traditional globe you’d remember from a classroom.I hope this review somehow is received by Amazon warehouse. I guess shame on me for trying to save a few lousy bucks.

My kids love playing with the globe at day and night time. It’s is great educational value and easy to use and spin. The multi-functional is what keeps interested in learning day and night.

Globe was ok, but will buy a magnifying glass to see the writing. The night sky was cool, but I should have shipped it to my grandbaby's house, as it was a gift. I'm learning, and the globe is a good learning tool, but maybe for 6+ yr. old.

The product is exactly as described and incredibly cool. My 7 year old is obsessed with finding the constellations. I usually don’t write reviews but had to in this case due to the exceptional customer service. I needed their help to fix an issue I was having and I’ve never seen a customer service department as willing to help, efficient, and friendly as them. They are setting the bar for what customer service should be like. Definitely worth purchasing the globe and knowing there are real people to help if you have any issues/questions ensures you will be satisfied with your purchase.
