I found it uncomfortable because the seat back is too close to the seat, and you cannot adjust the seat back away from the seat, other than by tilting the seat back backwards. If you tilt the seat back backwards it makes it even more uncomfortable because the contour of the seat back means that only the lower part of the seat back is in contact with your back when you are sitting upright. If you don't tilt the seat back backwards, I found my legs sticking out beyond the front edge of the seat, instead of being nicely balanced on the chair.My chair was returned because of a separate individual fault. Apart from that individual fault, the chair would have been fine, if the seat had been made with a mechanism for adjusting the backrest by sliding it backwards without having to tilt it.Alternatively, if you have short enough thighs, you might find it OK as it is.

We’re using this chair is a busy radio studio. It has a ‘bum’ on it from 6am - 11pm (typically 16 hours per day) and it’s holding up really well.I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, I’ve had some cheaper priced furniture from mail order companies before which were awful, but this is really not bad at all.Remember, this is a Draughtmans chair, so it’s very high, it’s intended for ‘work too’ height workstations.The colour is perhaps not quite what I was expecting, but that’s no body’s fault - it always looks different on a screen.So yea, after a fairly decent draft chair? Buy it!

Needed this for my workshop table with is 90cm high, so a conventional chair wouldn't fit. I have looked everywhere and this is the cheapest ADJUSTABLE chair I found online. I have just received it, amazing product, feel very sturdy and very well constructed. The black is more of a speckled grey/black which I personally found very nice. You can fully adjust the chair, in height, in your back support, and swing as well. The pedestal is adjustable as well. The padding on the chair is lovely and feel strong. This is definetely a chair build to last. 1 week for delivery, so not the quickest but worth the wait! Thank you

I ordered this chair to enable me to work from a higher surface than the normal table or desk. It arrived today, was really easy to put together and I can happily say I have been using it since.Chair is comfortable and supports my back where I need it and is very stable and sturdy. I have added lockable casters to enable me to move it across the surface of my carpet, although the provided sliders were more than adequate.Just wished I had ordered this back in March when we all went into lockdown through Covid-19 - it will make working from home a whole lot easier.

very comfy and quick delivery when it was actually dispatched ( the company said it was dispatched before Easter but it was actually dispatched the day before it came ) I bought it for the height and it certain gave me good height.

Needed a higher office type chair to work from home at kitchen worktop height - chair very easy to assemble - very sturdy and comfortable. I like the fact you can opt to buy roller wheels as well as having fixed feet. This will make a huge difference to creating an easier workplace at home.

I needed a chair that was higher than the standard office chairs would go. Well made, very comfortable and I loce resting my feet on the metal rig at the base!

A good replacement for my previous one-Comfortable with a good height adjustment.Would have liked castors included without having to purchase as an extra.
