Hydrating & Pleasant
After reading reviews I was expecting a whole mess upon arrival, but thankfully my order arrived intact. Haven’t tried the glycolic acid body wash yet, but the coconut oil lotion is very nice. The lotion is soft and light but also hydrating (I have excessively dry & bumpy skin for reference). A little seems to go a long way. I find the scent pleasant, not overwhelming, and is a mix of the coconut and manuka honey.

It worked the first time I used it!!!
I am so happy with the results after using the glycolic acid body wash!!! I have keratosis pilaris on my whole body. Im 34 & it’s gotten worse the older I’ve gotten plus I have really dry skin. When I was younger before I knew what was wrong with my skin I would research it. What I found was the explanation that my pores were trapping the hairs & opening up the pores would fix it along with hydrating my skin. I started using a fingernail brush to SCRUB my arms with body wash while in the shower. It was kind of painful because the brush was really rough. Then I’d put Vaseline lotion with vitamin E in it on my arms. Oh and when I shaved my legs everyday followed by the same lotion the bumps disappeared. With the brush scrubbing open the bumps & then keeping them from building up after that along with the razor preventing any bumps from forming I had found a routine that worked but it was uncomfortable & time consuming & I eventually stopped doing it so the bumps returned. I started researching skincare acids & found that glycolic acid was great for exfoliating. I found the medix glycolic acid body & in the description it mentioned being really good for treating KP. I bought it paired with the hyaluronic acid body cream. The very first time I used it I could tell I HUGE difference! I can’t even think of another product that I’ve used that gave “first time use results”! Companies will claim that but until now it’s never been my experience. My skin was like 80% better! For the first time in years my skin felt smooth. My boyfriend was really surprised too as how well it worked the first time I used it. It lathered really well. My only complaint is the smell! It is an extremely strong minty/menthol smell!! It was so overwhelming & it opens up my sinuses some! I’m NOT a fan!!! But with how well it works I’m willing to deal with it. The body cream works really well too. It keeps my skin hydrated & it doesn’t leave a greasy feeling. It dries & feels like there’s almost nothing there & it lasts!

Excellent stuff!
I purchased the glycolic body wash with the retinol moisturizer. I have keratosis pilaris, or something very close to it. My arms always have a little rash, even in childhood. But when I got closer to menopause, it seemed to spread all over my arms. I did some digging online and found that retinol can help. I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try (I mean I love it on my face!). At first I was a little hesitant to try this combo. I have dry skin and acids (glycolic, lactic, retinol, and ferulic) can be very drying. But with the way my skin was looking, I figured it couldn't get much worse. I figured that I could rotate a more hydrating product into my routine as needed, just like you would do for your face when using chemical exfoliators like retinol and glycolic acid. After the first wash I was already impressed. I had read people complaining about the mint scent, but it's part of the treatment. It smells nice, I didn't find it as offensive as the reviews said. It lathers alright, but what it does for the skin is amazing. I saw a few reviews mention that it burns, but I didn't have that experience at all, and I used it on my entire body. After my shower I used the retinol lotion on my arms. Even after the first day my KP was claming down. By the next day my rash was reduced by at least half. I really wish I would have looked for something sooner, because I've had this going on my whole life. Now, let's talk about these products a little bit. I saw some confusion in the reviews about people using these products and drying out. That's because all of the acids are exfoliating, they are meant to accelerate skin resurfacing which can cause dryness. But that's what makes these products work (you can apply this knowledge to your facial products as well). I recommend using other mechanical exfoliators like body scrubs or a Buff Puff, then follow up with hydrating creams to balance out the acids. Also, if you're sensitive at first, go slow. You work up to using these type of things daily. If you start flaking and peeling, back off for a few days and use a scrub or face mask to remove the dead skin, and then use a hydrating moisturizer. Overall I'm very impressed with how effective this combo has been. I just wish I had considered using the knowledge I had about my facial products to my whole body. I love that these bottles are a decent size, not too expensive, and they actually work. I highly recommend!

Use with a shower brush for exfoliating
This set works good for exfoliating, I use a sisal brush with it to really scrub. My skin is much softer. It has a mild minty scent while using, I can't smell it on my skin afterwards.

This Duo Makes Self-Care Fun!
I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but this body wash/moisturizer set is soooooo good! I like that they both have skin care ingredients that allow me to treat my body with the same care in which I treat my face with. I’ve used it for about a week for my ketosis pilaris. The KP I have seems to be much calmer and I’ll update this after using it for 1-2 months. The moisturizer smells delicious (!!!), feels super moisturizing, dries super fast, is easy to spread BUT isn’t too oily at all. The body wash has a strong minty (or tea tree?) scent but doesn’t linger & is apart of the skin treatment ingredients. Love it!

This stuff is magic!!!
I’ve had keratin bumps or keratosis on my legs since I was a teenager, I am a 33 yr old black male and this stuff along with an exfoliating cloth or pad cleared up those bumps in two weeks. I use it everyday I lather, scrub and rise 3-6 times, that’s just how I normally bathe. I wish I had a before and after pic. I honestly didn’t think it work but it does.

Does the basic job but nothing memorable
Have used for over a year. Good body wash and moisturizer but have not seen any difference in crepey skin which was disappointing.

My skin feels so soft and smooth!
This body wash makes me happy. I feel like Im treating my body with the same care as I do my face. I use this in combination with the retinol lotion by the same brand. I seen a few reviews that mentioned this wash was drying their skin out and gave it a bad review. Chemical exfoliation or any type of exfoliation for that matter should be done once, maybe two, three times max per week. I use this twice a week personally. This is NOT an every day body wash. Use a gentle body wash most days. I use the retinol lotion every night. I follow up my evening routine with a vitamin e body oil. Yes, I apply lotion and then oil to my entire body. My skin feels like butter. Its extra work but I love how soft and smooth my skin is and I know my future self with thank me. This wash has a mild minty scent. I usually use products that are fragrance free due to skin sensitivity but this was the only wash I could find in my price range that had active ingredients I know are proven to exfoliate well while being gentle. This does not irritate my skin or cause me contact dermatitis. I have this on subscribe and save and will use it for years to come I imagine.
