These are super cute. They're very well made. I wore my first strand for almost two months before they broke. The little bottle of superglue was perfect to help keep the knot from coming undone.

I've been purchasing waist beads from a local African store and allowing them to tie them for me. I've had them to break the very next day (only one is still hanging in there), and they weren't cheap (cheapest was $10 and most expensive was $25, each - I bought 3 plus a donation to tie them). I decided to buy some and try tying them myself (YouTube tutorial). These are a great deal because you get so many and so many colors. They've been on for a month with no issue. I only used 2 so I have a lot more leftover in case they do break or if I want to switch it up. I am a plus size girl and there's plenty of room to tie them around your waist. Get them.

I love them, however tying them have been difficult because there is no grace space for tying. They are knotted together tight. I had to cut the ends off in order to tie swiftly, if not careful, causes beads to be every where. It was aggravating, but they look great and feel great after 😊.

I had a previous set of waist beads and wore them for 2.5 years with no problems. I decided to buy this product to replace my old beads and gift some to friends and family. I have attempted to tie on three strands of beads on myself (including the glue on the knot) only for the thread to slip after a day of wear…beads everywhere. I attempted one more time with two new strands, this time melting the string with a lighter. Same thing happened, the thread slipped out of the knot and beads were every where. I shared two strands with a friend and the same issue occurred.The beads are glass and are gorgeous, but whatever thread they used, wasn’t a good quality to sustain long wear…not even a short length of time.

You have to know how to tie these beads properly and securely. After tying mine (and please do this with utmost care), I burn the tips just as we do braids before I rub some super glue on and it stays perfect. I placed them in different sizes so they fall nicely around my waist. I feel like a goddess!!!
