I have the early stages of macular degeneration diagnosed by Bristol Eye Hospital under whose care I have been for some years with other ye conditions. The consultant I saw at my last visit suggested taking Vision Defender tablets as a supplement to the steroids I am already prescribed a she felt they might help to slow the progress of sight loss. I find them pleasant and easy to take and have not noticed any further deterioration in my sight sice starting taking them.

Last year I was told I had the beginnings of Dry Macular Degeneration. I was so upset but the optometrist wrote "Areds2". Unknown to me I had shown signs a year previous and was not told!!The very first of these tablets made my eyes feel lubricated and I have never had Dry Eyes since. My Optometrist spoke about keep rubbing your eyes (with dry eyes) may contribute to Dry Macular Degeneration. Today I went with trepidation to the Optometrist to have my eyes photographed.
