Cute fake dating turned into love 💕
This is the third book in The Vancouver Agitators series with Ollie Owens and Silas Taters as the main characters. This is a standalone story, but a reader will definitely have more enjoyment from reading the first two books, to know the full in-depth back story of the side characters.Ollie is a 21 year old college student working on her Bachelor Degree and happens to be in a bar where she runs into her ex-boyfriend who is now dating her work nemesis so, she grabs the first unattached man she sees and kisses him and asks him to be her pretend boyfriend.Enter Silas, 31 year old pro hockey player for Vancouver Agitators and she has absolutely no idea who she’s just dragged into her fake boyfriend arrangement 😂💗🤣Definitely spicy with plenty of humor and drama, complete with a third act break up (I personally can do without this), but some readers really enjoy that drama.Absolutely love 💕 the story and I also listened to the audiobook and I definitely recommend you listening to this as well, the narrator’s voices are incredible and pull you into their world ♥️

GOOD BOOK
This was my first Meghan Quinn book, I've been reading the descriptions on her books and really wanted to get into her books. So I decided to take the leap with this one, who doesn’t love a fake relationship romance? I think this may be one of my new favorite tropes.Silas is just getting out of a messy relationship with the woman that he thought he would marry, he was faithful and loved her as much as he could. But he realized too late that she was selfish and self serving and didn’t really care about him the way that he cared about her. And she was mean about it too. Like how do you do wrong but your mean too? Smh.Ollie is also just getting out of a relationship where her loser ex decides to date her mortal enemy. A stuck up neat freak that only wants him because Ollie had him. Yea one of those….Ollie being desperate kisses Silas in a bar and pretends that he's her boyfriend, and lets say things get interesting from there. We go on a rollercoaster with Ollie and Silas from events for both of them to prove their relationship to things getting heated between the two.I really liked Silas, he was so sweet and caring and just wanted that one person to settle down with. He just needed someone in his corner that wanted the same thing he did.Ollie was a bit much to take at times, she was immature and you could tell her age just by her actions, I wish she was a little more mature for her age. Then she would start saying things and couldn’t stop talking getting herself into some situations that were completely unnecessary. The way Ollie behaves and the way Silas behaves for his age you would think they don’t go together, but they did work together.I couldn’t not stand Silas ex, she again was self serving and decided to get a job with Silas's team, like why you were the one that messed up? Seems like she was upset she no longer had Silas's money or lifestyle.Overall Silas and Ollie went well together and seemed to fit seamlessly into each others lives and made things work. Even when Silas was away for games they made it work. And let me tell you the spice was on point! This was one steamy book, the chemistry between Ollie & Silas was all that and more.I enjoyed this book and may try another one, I am actually really interested in the next one in this series and would love to see what happens with that one.

perfect for fate dating lovers!
This might be my favorite of the series and I instantly fell in love with both Silas and Ollie! Per usual, I'm a sucker for another fake dating rom com!! My heart was broken for Silas and seeing him piece his heart back together in the story was so heartwarming and sweet. Also, couldn't resist that he's got some piercings, IYKYK. Ollie is such a strong and determined FMC and not afraid to go after and take whatever she wants in life. She doesn't act like anyone but who she truly is and it made me love her even more! Ollie's rambling had me absolutely cracking up at so many parts in this book and I loved it! They are so perfect for each other and those smutty scenes are so spicy! The audiobook for this was duet narration and perfect!🤍 Hockey romance🤍 Age gap🤍 Fake dating🤍 Friends to lovers🤍 Pierced mmc

such a great story!
I was chomping at the bit waiting to get into Silas Taters mind and it was amazing. I wanted his story since his first line in “Kiss and Don’t Tell”.This story is the definition of Grumpy/Sunshine so if you are a fan of that trope.. read this book.Taters is still healing from his break up and we finally get to find out what happened between him and Sarah. God did I want to hug him. He is determined not to let himself be that vulnerable with another person but he didn’t see Ollie coming.Ollie was the perfect counterpart for Silas. She tested him in ways no one saw coming, kept him on his toes with her outrageous stories and made me laugh out loud with her banter. She is literally the type to sit up and go for what she wants and when her eyes land on Silas, he doesn’t stand a chance. What starts off as a simple fake dating agreement that would benefit both of them quickly turns into so much more. This book had just the right amount of hilarious moments, emotional moments and damn when the spice drops 😏.I also have to add how much I love these hockey boys. A couple of their encounters had me legit laugh crying and I couldn’t recommend this series enough.

Extremely good!
I loved the book and the characters. I also loved that finally we get to meet Ian Rivers and see a bit of his love story, but I would have hoped that he would get a book of his own.
