Delonghi EcoDecalk 200ml Descaler (Pack of 1)

I can’t believe I’m reviewing descaling solution. Oh well.I hadn’t used my Delonghi Espresso machine in a while and couldn’t quite get it to work properly. I tried running it dozens of times to flush the system and even tried to run the descaling programme with water in the hope that it’d sort itself out. No good.So I ordered this descaler, popped it into the tank with 1L of water and ran the appropriate programme. Half an hour later, the machine was working perfectly.Yes, I know I shouldn’t be overly surprised but I was worried that my machine had had it. So for a tenner to bring my machine back to working order, I’m very happy.I’ve given five stars for the flavour though, honestly, I still prefer coffee.

No doubt it will be fine but be aware the instructions are in every language but English.

Delivered quickly for a great price and does what it's supposed to. I'm not sure there is any great merit in using descaler packaged by the manufacturer but at this price, why not ?Concerned about Amazon asking me in the review to score this product on flavour but it smells inoffensive enough so I rated that 5 stars - please note I did not actually taste it and I wouldn't recommend anyone else do that unless you are the sort of person that eats washing pods as a challenge in which case, knock yourself out !

Official delonghi product. Does the trick, although I suspect you could find cheaper elsewhere this has kept my machine running for 6 years with no problems.
