Hunting Time: A gripping new thriller from the Sunday Times bestselling author of The Final Twist (Colter Shaw Thriller, Book 4)

Jeffrey Deaver
Have not read any of this authors work before- I don't know why! This book was as good as any Lee Child or Jeffery Archer or any others. It was a good plot well thought out with a nice twist at the end. Very good. I will, for sure be reading a lot more of Mr Deaver.

Entertaining read
Number four in the Colter Shaw series sees the lead character tracking, chasing, and trying to protect a runaway woman and her teenage daughter. With many threats to consider, this book is a game of cat and mouse, twists and turns keeping the reader on edge as to who will come on top, who the orchestrator is and who the bad guys are.Tied into the plot, the book focuses on some family related tension, hit men, nuclear power, and unfortunate business practices. All of which somehow in Jeffery Deaver fashion comes together to create a very good book and a nicely finished ending. The introduction of the ‘Street Cleaner’ serial killer suggests perhaps we have not seen the last of Colter Shaw.4 stars.

Engaging
Full of twists and turns that makes it a 'can't put down' book. Thoroughly enjoyed it. On to the next one.

Good read with questionable plot
I stayed up late to finish the book and was slightly disappointed with the plot twist or a logic reason why Colt was hired. A convulated murder plot, based on evidence of a crime which may never had come to light.

Slow getting going.
I struggled getting in to this. The initial problem was a bit vague and some of connections took a long time to appear. The last quarter was good but not sure Colter Shaw is for me

Confusing ! too many villains and violence
So many characters and names and unbelievable characters, just wanted the end. Usually love Colter Shaw but he was lost as I disliked most characters & names , so convoluted I just wanted the end.

Another twisting tale - Hunting Time
Deaver always offers a solid tale with enough twists and turns to keep the reader engaged. At one point, I would have drawn out a character’s transformation, but all in all a satisfying read.

Thrilling, satisfying and surprising
I can't recommend this book highly enoughWas blown away by the intricacy, cleverness and sophisication of the plotThe characters are all interesting and highly engagingIn particular I love the philosophy of problem solving that Colter Shaw lives byIt's mystery thriller writing on a different level, incredible especially given the number of books Jeffrey Deaver has already written and now into his 70's he can still come up with plots like this.

he’s not Lincoln Rhyme
He’s Colter Shaw. And while I really enjoy these books, I miss Lincoln. And then I realise that it’s Denzil Washington’s Lincoln Rhyme that I miss. But I do enjoy these. I this one was a bit too twisty though. I don’t have to always know what’s going on, but I do like to have some kind of an idea when I get closer to the end…
