Unbelievable value for money!
Don't really leave long winded reviews but i was very impressed buy this watch!Iv'e wanted a submariner style watch for everyday use that wouldn't break the bank.considered many other watches in the same price range (invicta, parnis, pagani ect) but went for the Phoibos in the end after reading countless great reviews! i am so glad i did now! the spec on paper is unreal but when you've got it on the wrist it seems even better, the fit and finish of the case and strap is superb. This newest variant of the "ocean one" quartz seems to have done away with most of the little niggles that had been an issue to some other reviewers online. No cyclops as advertised, happy with this as i don't feel it needs one as the date window is a tidy size.Improved sunburst dial, others had noted some graininess but mine looks perfect in all lights. No text saying Phoibos anywhere, the dial, crown and clasp all have the craken symbol which i personally love! if it wasn't for the re branding of theses watches then i never would of bought one, there's nothing worse to me than generic printed text on a watch and sterile dials are not for me either.Second hand lines up with the indices perfectly all the way around the dial.Swiss quartz movement has lost probably a quarter of a second in 10 days. The only slight negatives to this watch would be the secondary clip on the clasp is a little looser than expected and the lume is not very good, this is compared to my Seiko Skx007 which is renowned for its lume, but i would not let these put you off by any means, this watch is superb and a million miles away from your average Chinese micro brand. if you were looking for another watch with this level of fit, finish and spec you would have to spend £300 +There aren't many places you will find this model now, especially at this price as it seems to be discontinued, so buy it now or you'll be sorry when its gone!

A good watch in its own right
This watch is a Rolex Submariner homage but is also an excellent watch in its own right. I own a handful of watches in the sub £1k price range and can say that this watch has the nicest metal bracelet of all of them being quiet and comfortable with pinching and hair pulling almost never happening (take note Seiko). Getting the pins back in after sizing it was one of the most difficult I have ever done though. The clasp is pressed but I think that it would be unrealistic to expect anything else at this price and it works nicely. The secondary clip is not very positive because the bar it is on is slightly too long but it stays in place. Finishing of the strap and case is excellent with a Kraken logo on the crown and clasp as well as case back and they are all crisp, level and perfectly centred which is more than I can say for some other watches. The screw down crown feels good and once pulled out controls the Ronda 515 movement well enough. The movement itself is a perfectly good generic Swiss quartz and although it is nothing to boast about it does exactly what is needed accurately and without fuss or expensive service costs as long as you feed it a new battery every 3 or 4 years via the screw down case back. On my watch the second hand is about half a degree out of alignment with the indices and under a magnifying glass you can detect a very small amount of backlash but that is also found on much more expensive watches. The face of the watch is very tidily finished with a nice sunburst effect (very fitting given the meaning of the name Phoibos) and neat applied indecies - speaking of which the lume is a blue shade and in terms of strength is Ok but nothing to shout about and to my eye the hands looks slightly brighter than the indecies. The view through the sapphire window is very clear and seems to not suffer from reflections - personally I am also glad that there is no cyclops on the date. The only area I was slightly disappointed with (remembering the price) is the bezel, the action itself is crisp with only mild backlash but it it is about half a degree out (about the same as some Seiko diver watches) and has a very small amount of eccentric movement against the spring if pushed from the 6 o clock position. It is not a big issue and you'll only notice it if you go looking for it.All in all the watch is a great unit and you could add it to a collection knowing that being quartz you can just pick it up and put it on without needing to wind and set it, or you could enjoy it as your only watch day in day out - but it is almost too good to treat it to everyday abuse (however being brush finish 316 stainless it will put up with it and scratches will come out with some gentle stroking with Scotch Brite). The Kraken logo is distinctive and stylish both looking good and clearly saying that this is a homage and not a fake Rolex.

Everything said about Phoibos is true! Luxury qaulity at an affordable price!
I've only had the watch a day and so impressed by the qaulity I've just ordered the black dial.Solid end links and links, as Mark from Long Island Watch said, the bracelet is comparable to Strapcode qaulity. Sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating, the glass even has a Cyclops magnifier for the date. For £100 this is a watch that looks like it can cost like £500, you only have to hold this watch to see why. There's nothing cheap looking at all. It's extremely rock solid and robust with a nice weight to it.Yeah, I've got a little greedy, and I'm not denying it. I love this watch so much I have to have the other one.

This is one of the better quartz watches that i own
This is one of the better quartz watches that i own,has a solid bracelet, sapphire glass and has a really good bezel action in fact one of the best i have come across so far on this watch collecting journey that i am on.The second hand alignment is spot on and seems to be pretty accurate so far.I don't really see the need for a cyclops on a watch of this size since it is as big as my orient ray 2 and that is fine without one and the upgraded lume could do with another upgrade in my opinion,it's passable though just wish it was a bit brighter.Overall a very nice watch for the money.

The Phoibos PX002B Mens' Dive Watch - A great watch...
Found a review of the company that makes these watches via a certain well known YouTube channel. It really is impossible to appreciate just how good this watch looks 'on-wrist', the blue face and bezel are very distinctive, and makes the watch face very easy to read. Make no mistake, this is a real divers watch.Your getting 300 metre water resistance, sapphire crystal glass, (how many watches at this price point can say that?), a Swiss Quartz Ronda 515 movement, a 120 click unidirectional bezel, swiss super-luminova and a very nicely made solid 316L stainless steel bracelet with plenty of adjustment.A Swiss dive watch with the above spec at this price? this is an absolute steal.

A quality timepiece for a reasonable price
I looked on here for a submariner clone. Everything was either really cheap and you know you aren't going to get much then, or more expensive than I wanted to pay. This watch had the looks and the specs that really caught my eye. Still I debated purchasing. I thought yeah it looks nice (like the Octopus logo) and could fool a few at first glance that it's a Rolex, but in the end is it going to be any good? Will it last? The first thing I noticed (besides it being totally covered in plastic even the band which annoys me) is it's heavy. It has some heft. The watch is nice sized and solid. The band feels good and strong it's not cheap like on some of the lower end watches. It's as comfortable as a steel band that I've found I usually replace them with nato bands for sheer comfort. Not this one.Love the fact it has a sapphire crystal to protect against scratches. Love the screw down crown. Love the hands. Even the lume, though I didn't get all night out of it, was much better than my Seiko 5s.I had to take out two links and then it fit my wrist perfectly. That went pretty well and was straight forward but I have the tools to do that with so that helps a lot.The battery for anyone who is interested is a Renata 371. I wrote the company very late on a Saturday night asking, and got a response literally in minutes. These guys are not take the cash and dash I was impressed with the response.I liked that, and this watch so much that I'm getting another one in black, and they are the only watches I plan to wear going forward, unless I have to go to a sketchy area where a crackhead might mistake it for a Rolex and try to roll me for it. I can't recommend it enough. Very impressed. Built solid seems like it will last many years. Also I understand why they cover everything - to keep it nice for when you get it. And as far as that goes it came in a really nice box, held securely in a quality pillow. I never keep the box but this one I kept. I'm really glad I made the leap and bought this.

Kaufempfehlung
Preis-Leistung super.
