Flight Medical Provider: A Ground and Flight Critical Care Guide (Ia Med)

It's been 20 years since I took my FP-C exam at the Air Medical transport conference in Reno 2003. I was fortunate enough to take Lori Montanez's 12 hour review prior and to have the study guide she published. I still have that guide and it was great. You all who put this together did an incredible job in every way . It could no be better. The text the pictures everything perfect. I'm proud of you for doing such a great and professional job. Great resource… actually if you’re buying the book… just go ahead and look up their in person class, absolutely worth it!

While this is a good study tool just know it is not ALL encompassing. Visually appealing, and easy to to study. 100% recommend adding this to your study material.

I bought this as I am completing the IA-Med 2.0 Flight Medical Provider. Overall I am happy with the book. It follows the course, but there are some of the quiz questions at the end of the sections that aren't printed in the book.

Great book written by great instructors!

If you’re expecting this book to explain anything, don’t. It’s mostly comprised of poorly formatted bullet points with no actual explanation of the why behind them. Often you’ll find the values in the graphics differ from the ones in the text. Honestly it reads more like a study guide put together by a sleep deprived college student for their final exam. After spending a good amount of time with this book I am not looking forward to IA med course that I’m signed up for. Hopefully it isn’t a regurgitation of the superficial information and haphazard collection of facts that is this book.

A wealth of information. Well put together. Great for anyone in or interested in air medical knowledge and critical care.

There is no way to go through the class from IA MED without this study guide. It’s a must have 100%
