Review: Looks good, nice! Dress watch. - Happy with product. Review: Outstanding value - This is a lovely watch. I read all the reviews and couldn't believe that a watch of this quality and design could be sold for £15.95 but I am delighted to have been proven wrong. It is beautifully made and compares well with watches costing many times more. The face is clear, well defined and very easy to read. It has kept excellent time over the week I have had it measured against my radio-controlled Citizen Skyhawk. The gold plated case is both smooth and lustrous and the leather strap is very high quality. I am delighted with this little retro watch, it looks superb, keeps excellent time and is both stylish and practical. My only question is how do they do it for the price?

General usefulness
The watch is ok, a bit bigger than appeared in the ad photo. Face legibility ok and strap good. I normally use Longines, a hard act to follow. For the price a good buy

Excellent quality, elegant and inexpensive.
Really nicely done gold plating, and therefore, aesthetically, as far as the human eye is concerned, it looks like 24ct pure because that's exactly what you are seeing; electroplating is the deposition of the pure metal, no matter which it is. A few microns thick but I suspect that it's going to take a bit of wear and tear to cause it to deteriorate/scuff off. Accuracy? Well, it's quartz, so it's going to be better than any and every Rolex/Cartier/Breitling clockwork escape mechanism. Personally I would have preferred clockwork, which would be more fitting in 'retro' but that's not worth it losing a star. Rounded and elegant mineral glass but has no claim to water-resistance, but then again, it's a dress watch, so you're advised take it off even for hand-washing, which is no big deal. The strap is real leather and of excellent design and quality. Overall, for the money (£15!) outstanding and has even passed the 'She who must be obeyed' test. Highly recommended. PS: The crown-wheel is fitted with a plastic clip for shipping that has to be removed to set and start the watch; this is an advantage in that the battery hasn't had a chance to discharge during storage, so what you're getting is a brand new and fully-charged battery.

Fantastic value for money
I am very pleased with this watch. It does not look like a cheap watch: in fact, it's far better quality than I could have hoped for, compared to other watches in this price range. The leather strap is really well made and looks good too and I very much like that the glass is domed on the watch. It's easy to read, the gold is a good shade and although I bought the man's watch, it's sitting very happily on my female wrist: it's large, but not too large. It's got an old fashioned feel to it, which is exactly what I wanted. A bit of masculine Art Deco style Highly recommended.

Speaks Quality!!
I just love this watch. It has lived up to and beyond my expectations. It looked good online, but looks even better on my wrist. Some people have commented on the strap length. I have a fairy large wrist and it fastens at the third hole from the end, which is very comfortable. It is a quality watch at a well affordable ticket price. Can't wait for a special occasion to flaunt it a little lol!!

Superb watch for any occasion
I've worn this watch in numerous environments in temperatures, wet, warm and dropping to below -20. This watch has weathered well, it is durable, keeps good time and looks smart. Definite value for money and will likely order again in a few years time. although weather proof it does allow moisture onto the face if worn in shower or excessive heat. However dried without a trace and had zero impact on the functionality of the watch.

Elegant and interesting retro watch.
A lovely watch which I was pleased to discover was created by a small business in my area. I don’t understand why people spend hundreds of pounds on watches when they can buy something as thoughtfully designed and as characterful as this for around the the fifty mark. Well, actually I do-they are insecure and need to show off.

HERZLICHEN DANK !
