These work great so far! It completely fixed out balancing issue. Not sure how long they'll last, but it definitely beats buying another washer.

Unfortunately, our washer has become off balanced twice in the 6 years we’ve owned it. Thankfully my husband is handy, so he is able to replace the springs without having to pay a handyman. It’s about a 1-2 hour process, but it’s doable to fix yourself. Hopefully these last longer than the last spring’s we ordered. The previous Amazon springs lasted 2 years.

Bottom Line: Don't buy cheap. Buy OEM. You'll save yourself time and money. I purchased these because our Samsung washer tub started hanging heavily when on the spin cycle. It didn't matter if it was a full load or a light load. After doing a little research, I found that these suspension rods wear out over time...suggested replacement is around the 3 year mark. Which made sense as our washer was 3 years old. They came in and I found a video to help me install them. Easy install all in itself...just mildly difficult to get access to the shocks itself. Got the install done in about 30 minutes and on the very first load of laundry we did, guess what happened? Yup, the exact same thing as before. I called a service repair technician to come and check out what else might be going on. It took them all of about 10 seconds to tell me that my issue is the shocks. He pushed down on the drum and it looked like a bouncey spring rider from the playground. He said it's way too loose and that the shocks are out. I told him I just replaced them from parts I got from Amazon. He said they have been having a lot of repairs with shocks with the same issue. The OEM shocks are made better. 9/10 I would scuff and say "sure, whatever". But I can honestly say he's right this time. That should of fixed my problem. But it is no different with these brand new shocks than what it was with the OEM shocks with 3 years of use. The unfortunate part is it's going to run you about $55/shock online and you need 4. But the good thing is, you can save yourself money by doing the install yourself. It's easy but tedious. The quote I got for parts and labor for the repair was $791.56. That again is unfortunate because the washer is $648 brand new. Again, DO NOT BUY THESE SHOCKS. You'll be very disappointed if you do. Take it from me...someone who bought these shocks. And you guessed it...very disappointed.

Bought these in May and they work! Easy to replace! Very very happy! No noise, no bangs… spin cycle is back to normal without spending a fortune to fix! Definitely would buy again!

If you are a DIY’er like I am, this is the way to go. They are SUPER EASY to install, and they work great. No more UB codes, and my washer works like it did when I bought it. I wash a lot of bulky waterproof hunting clothes, and these little gems saved me from a service call. Took less than 20 minutes to install. I recommend wearing rubber gloves, your old suspension rods are most likely going to have some sticky residue on them.

Exactly what we needed to fix our off balance washer. With the right tools, this is super easy to install while following instructions from a YouTube video I found by googling. You need 2 people to do it but my washer is running perfectly now.

I ordered these to replace the dampening rods in my Samsung washing machine that couldn't complete a spin cycle from getting out of balance. Upon receiving I noticed the color was different than the factory purple ones in the machine, although measure the exact same. Installation was very easy. Price was very cheap compared to factory. After just one wash I got the same code for being out of balanced and would not complete a spin cycle. So I ordered replacement ones to see if there was any difference, no different just the same. After doing a deep dive I came across the video that showed using this "Nyogel 767A Synthetic Damping Grease Lubricant" 25$(bought on Amazon) to lube the dampening rods it's like a grease / glue, thinking back the original ones I took off had this stuff all over. After applying the dampening lube with these new damping rods My washing machine works now. Completing 5 washes with a big load of towels. I really feel like the company should either include this dampening lube with their product or state this product needs to be bought in conjunction with their product. Like I mentioned the factory rods had a whole bunch of this stuff on it. Took me three times of opening the washing machine two times of replacing the dampening rods but at least it works now.
