I used these to hold up the bands on my oak barrel planters and they shrunk in the summer and fell down and these were perfect

OK, but pozi screwdriver 'hole' isn't very deep. May be OK going into thin material but 3mm steel is a struggle. (Even after drilling a 3.5mm pilot hole.) A Hex head would be better.

I bought them for refurbishing the upholstery on a classic car. Easy to use and easy to hide.
