I make waffle potatoes. I waffle zucchini and use as pasta.

Not the greatest quality but gets the job done. Blade not very sharp and I don’t like how thin the cut is.

This item worked even better than I had anticipated. It gives you a nicely, thin, cut waffle, french fry.Two things to keep in mind:There aren’t any instructions. I had to Google it first. Just so you know, when, using it, after every pass of the mandolin, you rotate the potato 90°, pass it through and then rotate it back 90° and that will give you the crisscross pattern. If you don’t rotate it, you will just have slices with lines in them and not the window pattern.Also, something to note, it works best with small to medium sized potatoes. If you have a big old potato, it doesn’t cut right and will jam.Either way, this was an excellent purchase and I can’t wait to use it again. Pictured above are my fried waffle fries .

I would not recommend this, due to the safety. You will cut or slice your fingers with this thing. I cut one of fingers first use because its cheaply made. Do not sit this upright or at an angle when using . I would lay it flat and guide the potato across with my palm to ensure you dont cut yourself. I'm not using it again tho and will just invest in a safer alternative or device

Makes waffle fries too thin. Thickness is not adjustable.

Some say potato some say potato! I say it's time to get waffle fried!
