As the prices of all spices/herbs has recently rocketed, if you see anyone selling this product for less, then you know that it is OLD STOCK and not fresh and fragrant like our own. This is The Spiceworks own blend, based upon many years experience, both from ourselves and from customers recommendations. This will add an excellent flavour to all of your assorted pickled products. This makeas a really good addition to the spice shelf. Ingredients: Coriander Seed, Yellow Mustard, Chillies, Ginger, Cloves, Black Peppercorns, Allspice Berries, Bay Leaves, Cassia Bark. Use this for an extra ‘zing’ in your next batch of pickling. The flavours work superbly together. Pickling spice not only adds characteristic flavour to pickles, it adds complex flavour to braised meats, stews, beans and rice dishes. To infuse recipes in the cookpot with the multi-dimensional taste of this blend, create a sachet by placing pickling spice in the centre of a piece of cheesecloth or a coffee filter and tying it tightly with a long piece of string. Leave a few inches of extra string on the bundle so it's easy to remove after cooking. Drop the flavour sachet into the pot and enjoy the distinctive taste and aroma this blend provides. For general pickling purposes, soak the produce in enough water to cover them overnight, adding the correct proportion of pickling spices. In the morning, drain off the water thoroughly and add the correct quantity of Pickling Vinegar as specified by your recipe. Many people, however, prefer to simply add our pickling spice to the Vinegar recipe that they are using. We also make an EXTRA HOT blend, that will leave your eyes watering!

Great spices.
A really nice mix of spices and made the onions I pickled a cut above the normal. I can really recommend the company. The spices arrived on time and in good condition and a pleasure to use.

Wow! It’s huge.
Expected a smallish bag of spices, the kind of size you’d get in a supermarket, but was surprised just how big the bag was when it arrived. Brimful of gorgeous scented spice too. Our pickled onions will be amazing this Christmas 🎄

Its the suppliers blend so the proof of the pickling will be in the final taste.
Used for pickling shallots that are still hidden away whilst they develop the full flavour. I sent a use question to the supplier and received a 2 hour response - on a Sunday. That alone deserves a galaxy full of stars!

You can’t buy Pickled Onions as nice as these !
After waiting patiently for 6 weeks just tried the onions I pickled .They haven’t disappointed , just as I remember my Nans .Well happy !!! I
