I am so glad I went with this faux leather strips package. I love the colors (just wish I knew the names) and at 3mm wide the cord is perfect and makes for a nicer, less clunky finished wrap on the metal ring. I will no longer use the 5mm. The 2 mm thick means it can tie into knots easier for holding power and still lay nicely. I wish this brand would sell them individually because I want to replace several colors already. I see they also have the wax thread in the same colors which I will eventually buy but I had not seen them when I bought another brand (that is really nice too) I was able to pair up the colors very well.

Very easy to tie into a knot and use for many craft projects. The different colors make it easy to use with many different projects. I use it to make hangers/ties for my crocheted pot holders. Great colors!
