I love the way the cards are organized into the Standard buckets - the terms take you further than just reading alone, so these really expand what you think you know. I also love they they included a study method method that came with the set. I look forward to crushing the exam.

Building knowledge with things like this helps me remember foundational concepts and theories of PMP.

The flashcards will help you keep your terminology in mind if you read them everyday, but I think the cards are better to create your own. Many of the cards are just basic terms, such as "Management", and it does not delve too much into things you actually need to know. I haven't seen many of the formulas you may need on the test, and many cards are not intuitive. For example, they list the OSCAR method as simply "a coaching method" or something like that, when it would have been better to spell out what OSCAR means. They have cards for each individual letter though.This pack also comes with 50% off their online course, which brings it to $50/month. That is pretty cheap for a PMP Prep Course, but there are probably better ones out there if you're willing to just spend a little more. The PM Prepcast will set you back about $300-$400 (total cost; suggested length is 3 months), but seems much more comprehensive than what I saw on the Mometrix PMP Course Outline.

I found these to be enjoyable and domain specific. They are color coded by domain with each area regulated terms and concepts(helpful in understanding the pmp terminology). They also provided helpful study skills and tips (supplemental videos, practice test, customer support, etc.) to assist novice practitioners in targeted knowledge gaps in domain oriented task areas. Enjoy studying.

I went through the PMP class which lasted for almost a week and there was so much information. They gave us some suggestions on how to study for the PMP, but it was just overwhelming. The flash cards are amazing! I can work a section at a time, keep trying and trying them until I get them all right, and then move on to the next section. I can use them by answering the term/phrase given the description, or I can provide the description given the term.

I’m studying for the PMP. I its like a whole different vocabulary system. The cards focus on what is important and really help to add further meaning to what I’m reading for the PMP exam.

Do not focus on terms for the PMP exam. Instead, take practice tests and study situational areas of interest.
