super handy and easy to install
Wow, this thing is great for 12v power distribution. I've screwed it to a piece of plywood as a 12v power distribution panel and it works great, easy to connect screw terminals and nice protect plastic cover. The price is right too.

SAVED MY MOTORCYCLE BATTERY!
This fused terminal block is the perfect solution for my LED lighting and 12volt power accessories I've added to my motorcycle. Most of these accessories came with built-in fuses, but most wired directly to the motorcycle battery without any switches for on/off. For example, my cellphone holder with built-in wireless charger runs whether the motorcycle is running or is shut off. That in turn runs down my battery. Several of the control modules for my added LED lighting likewise are powered even when the bike is turned off. This constant drain damages my battery & I've had to replace it almost every 11 months or so. The answer for me was to install this Terminal Block with fuses so that the accessories power went through the power distribution block. The main power leads coming from the battery to the power block initiated from the starter switch output. This allows the power to stay off when the motorcycle is not running reducing battery drain. Another great benefit are the six power terminals, each with a variable fuse value. Accessories power wires connect to the terminals and you may insert the appropriate value fuse for each protecting the circuit, battery and components from any power related issues. Best of all, this power terminal comes complete with a variety of fuses so you may select the appropriate value for each individual circuit. The terminal comes with a clear plastic cover and labels so you may identify each circuit and protect the terminals from the elements. While this is not waterproof, it is reasonably resistant to environmental elements. One caveat is the physical size. I'd envisioned installing this unit under a side cover to permit clean wire management while protecting it from the elements. This would also allow me to route power wires so as to keep them neat and tucked out of the elements. However, the physical size of the box was simply to thick or tall to fit behind my panels. I managed to route and move wiring under the seat to allow insertion there. I had to reroute wires to allow this to sit above the battery under the seat. This was a very tight fit, but it does not rub against the bottom of my seat. The terminal connections are screw terminals so I wired/soldered ring terminals on each power cable. They have a positive, secure connection through the terminal block. Positive and negative terminals are properly separated permitting safe and secure wire routing to avoid friction, abrading and other wiring issues. A wonderful plus is the inclusion of labels and a variety of fuses. You can identify each of the six terminals with the labels and select the appropriate fuse value for each. The fuses of course, protect the circuitry from any issues arising from components and wiring failures. The vehicle's computer is protected as is the battery and the fusing helps to avert wiring fires. The only hardware I had to provide were the soldered-on ring terminals for the accessories wired to the block. The block itself is NOT waterproof or event water resistant. The cover prevents items from bridging the terminals protecting the wiring and avoiding short circuits, but it is not waterproof. Since this sits under my seat in a dry area that is not an issue nor a requirement. The cover is sturdy and strong with side clips that hold it secure. To remove you simply use a small flat blade screwdriver to softly pry the clips away from the clasp. Fingernails can work for this a well. The terminals tighten nicely holding the connectors firm. Since I ride in rough conditions and the motor vibrates considerably, I added a dab of adhesive with my hot glue gun to better protect the screws from vibrating loose. A small lock washer would likely work even better. The Positive and Negative terminals going to the battery are larger than the six circuit terminals to carry more current which I like. Overall a great value!

Nice "blown fuse" led feature
This isn't the top of the line fuse block, but the price reflects that. I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised with a simple feature that would illuminate the location of the "blown" fuse with a small red LED light. As I mentioned it's not built to take a ton of abuse, but mounted in a safe location it should do its job well. The assortment of fuses that came with it are not high quality and I replaced with a better quality fuse for the piece of mind. I'd recommend this to others. Comes with 4 mounting screws as well..... : )

These Are Gret
If a fuse blows, the corresponding LED lights up.I recently bought another older little 4x4. Like with my last one, I wanted to add an extra fuse block for some extra outlets and a 20 amp cigarette lighter and wire in a small light bar in the front. This and a pair of quick release battery connectors with taps for aux power make the job really easy and clean.

worth the $7
I am believer of fusing everything. Normally keep a few CruiseMarine branded on hand, but son helped himself without replacing.Have already put into place, no problems. Needed greater current capacity beyond 30A circuit rating. Cut my leads exact same length, and installed (4) 30A fuses. Load (inverter) pulling 100A. Positive connections show no increase in temperature, Negative bus increased by 3°F. Can't stress enough to use cable rated for current. To spread load, I have (8) 10AWG 6inches long pigtailed from fuseblock to 2AWG cable on both positive and negative. High current drawn from 4 bottom fuses, other 2 positions used for relay and controls. Maybe 110A max draw.No issues yet. I am using copper rings everywhere, not cheap garden variety crimp connectors, on the high current loads.
