Mark Todd Winter Riding Glove

I have only just received these today, so I can’t really comment on durability, but they look really well made.What I can say is I don’t normally review stuff, but these are better than I expected. So they are worth a mention. Great fit for my hands, I bought a small, my hand around the knuckles is 7.5” or 29.5cm. I have fairly average / short fingers and each glove finger is the perfect fit, with only the little finger on the gloves a tiny bit too long for me.Colour is closer to purple (grape?) on my pair, rather than brown though!!

Lovely pair of gloves. However, after ordering my usual size I have found these to be a little on the large side, especially for riding. I will keep them for dog walking when winter hits but will be going back to my old faithfuls for riding this winter. May purchase a smaller size in these but worried they will be too small! For now my budget won't stretch to another pair. I will enjoy these later in the year.

I had a pair of these gloves previously for at least 10+ Years, yes: 10 + years! Only when they became shredded on the fingers (probably not a good idea to abuse them loading rough cinder blocks!) did i actively seek out another pair, hoping they were still available and totally unchanged. Lucky me. Here they are; same branding same excellent quality, simple design super comfortable and still at that amazing price. I don’t know why I waited so long to get another pair. As a motorcycle rider they are a fantastic Summer glove even though they are predominantly a horse riders “Winter” glove. I have yet to find any motorcyclists equivalent item that can equal these gloves for style, quality and price. Just remember to ‘feed’ them regularly with a quality leather cream and they will serve you faithfully for years to come.

My second pair. They last very well. Comfortable easy to keep clean after getting wet & mucky. Comfortable gloves to ride in.

On the black gloves, the brown trim is lighter than in the photos, almost peach in colour. Quite a feminine colour.Bought the gloves in xl size. They do fit well. Just disappointed with the colour.

Ordered ladies small for 13 Yr old daughter but too small. Seller needs to provide sizing chart. Did get refund less postage bit annoying.

I bought these gloves for a friend who borrowed mine and loved them. My pair have lasted years and keep my hands perfectly warm. They are extremely comfortable to wear. Great value for money and I would highly recommend.

Delivered very promptly by supplier. Quality is excellent, and fit was perfect (~9inch around palm so chose XL). My only concern is that the leather is thinner than I expected. Being a riding glove I was expecting it to be thicker to avoid the leather potentially wearing through due to holding reins. I bought them with the purpose of walking the dog in cold weather, and having been through a number of previous gloves where the lead wears through the fingers, I was hoping these would be the solution. Only time will tell, and I'll try and remember to come back and add further comments in a few months time as to how well they hold up.Update: Well this is over four years later not a few months!! The gloves continue to be in regular use during winter months. They have held up very well with holding the dog lead on dog walks. Definitely would purchase again. Only change from the original review is that I would probably go for large size instead of XL to give a tighter fit. Great gloves!
