I have had mine for over two years and I wish I would have bought more back then. They are expensive now. They charge really well and have deterred Random weirdos from walking up into my driveway. It used to be quite often my ring would catch them but it didn’t deter them unless I pressed the alarm. This motion detector has done the trick and with my ring light turning on and recording the are a power pack. I was hesitant when I first bought them because I live in Arizona and the Arizona heat eats everything up. These have withstoood all our 116 degree days. I’m looking to buy more now.

Does everything it says it can do: noisy and bright and gets attention. Even when I was wandering in the back yard at night 30 yards away and off to the side...I was busted!Testing it is a problem, as I prefer to set it off at nite and am sure the neighbors get a bit tense about what could be going down...Solar charger keeps it at ready. Fastend up temporarily to a rain gutter just to see how it faired. Great. Not heavy so easily hung from one self-tapping screw...Only had It's a couple months so haven't really been able to check durability through the winter and longevity...Oh, did I say it comes with a remote control that has four different settings...

I bought 4 of these to deter thieves from stealing my catalytic converter, so far, so good. I created a night-time alarm zone with 3 of them surrounding my truck (the 4th is a spare, at about $20 each they are a bargain). If anyone gets within 20 feet of the truck these things flash & loudly wail, our overhead motion lights come on and my Nest Cam will pick up the activity.Super easy to set up, I charged them initially with the USB cords provided.The only downside is that when the Alarms come on at dusk when some of us non-criminals are still conducting lawful activities so we do end up setting them off. They can be turned off with the remote provided but we don't want to do forget to reactivate them, so best to leave them on. BTW, did I mention that they are loud and our neighbors may not be all that happy with hearing them go off, still much quieter than all of the swearing they will hear if my catalytic converter does get stolen.

These things malfunction. I have tried several times, different brands and sellers and something about these low priced things just isn't right. And when they do work, the alarm is waaaaaay too loud and stays alarming like that for 30 long seconds. And if you set it to be used day and night, the solar panel will never be able to charge battery enough. If you're lucky, best case scenario, you can get one to work w lights only at night only.

I was trying to dissuade small bears and skunks, raccoons, etc. from going after my trash. Put it up. Loved the little remote. Worked great for six weeks. Then just stopped working. Even with a full new charge from the outlet I could not get it to turn on again

Raccoons were entering my barns and garage at night and damaging items to include wires on my vehicles, scratching the paint on the vehicles and causing all sorts of problems. One raccoon (probably had rabies) chewed the plastic fender skirt on my brand new car (see photo) and it cost more than $200 to replace.I bought 8 of these to install at the entrance of two barns and along various weak points around the perimeter of our ranch. Within a couple nights they scared the raccoons away. I have had no raccoons in the past two months.Please note, these are very LOUD. We don’t have neighbors and these are so loud, if you live in a neighborhood, people in houses close to you might hear them.These lights have a provision to NOT sound the alarm and only FLASH the red lights (which are bright) but the instructions that come with these lights are somewhat convoluted and seem to be written in “Chinglish”. I recommend experimenting with the settings them placing them where you need them.I’m happy with my purchase and I bought 4 more.……………………………………………………………….UPDATE nearly a year laterFor a product made in China (I wish I could buy all made in America!) These lights have impressed me. I’m buying 4 more (April 18, 2023) because they do a great job at not only scaring raccoons but also coyotes. I live on a ranch in Texas and this I can’t attest to how good these might work for criminals and scoundrels, but if I were a crook, and one of these went off when I started looking through a bedroom window, or crawling under a car to steal steal something, the moment the lights and siren started screaming, I’d get the heck out of Dodge!

Works well and very sensitive to motion. Super bright.

Got these to help with coyotes in my neck of the woods. They have really come in handy. The alarm is loud but not enough to annoy the neighbors. I used them after the season was over to put in my garden with my raised beds....kept the rabbits and deer at bay!! Lights are really bright and seem to be sufficient to keep everyone away!! Would recommend.
