Caterlite Electric Airpot 355X235X237mm 425 L Teapot Infuser with New Features

Apart from the resting temperature being a very few degrees below what I'd prefer, I really can't fault this machine. It holds a very decent tank of water and is extremely simple to use.

Great product works brilliantly and is very handy when unexpected visitors arrive, we don't have to keep filling the kettle ,we would recommend the Electric Airpot to anyone, you don't have to keep reboiling it either.Since writing this review ,My Electric Airpot just stopped working after only 8 months, and now i have got to buy a new kettle

Only just started using it but should be a very useful addition to our meetings. Once heated the water keeps hot enough, or easily re-boiled for the whole group.

Easy to use and looks good in the kitchen same colour as my other appliances

this is the 2nd one we've had of this boiler, the 1st was good, had it for 18mths, this 1 however doesn't seen quite as good, it keeps boiling up about every 40mins, which the first 1 didn't, it just doesn't hold the heat, so very disappointed, would have back if not Christmas time and the hassle

We bought the Airpot just under 3 years ago, now it leaks.As mentioned in earlier review there is no insulation at all - running costs are much higher than they should be - basically it reboils every half-hour. Water is not really hot enough most of the time.After three years use pin-holes appeared in base of tank. I have seen soft drinks cans made off thicker material.When I disassembled it I noticed that some parts were out of line with each other - brackets bent to suit - seems to have been assembled with more enthusiasm than skill.Convenient in use - provided you don't need your water so hot.

I was expecting that being an "airpot" it would be well insulated, but it seem to have no insulation so will have considerable running costs if it is left on all day. Due to its a small element, it takes a very long time to heat up if it is not left on, even with only a small amount of water in it. Therefore it not a good solution for fulfilling a small demand for boiler water over a long length of time. However if you need the boiling water for the end of a meeting to serve lots of drinks, then it could be a great solution turning it on at the start of the meeting.I was looking for a way that my disabled wife (with cp) could have easy access to boiling water. She can use a normal kettle, but we find that kettle tops soon start leaking while she is pouring, as she tends to tilt them over too much.The electric water pump dispenses the water nicely and there is space under the output to sit a teapot on the working surface. The button to operate the pump is a bit small, this was not a deal breaker for us, but maybe it will be for other people.We decided to return it, as the lid is very hard to open, requiring fingers to be inserted into a small space and a large force to be used to pull up its catch. Also the button to dispense the boiling water is too close to the catch, so giving an unacceptable risk, as my wife need to rest her wrist on the top while pulling up the catch.

Termo bueno, pero sale por bombeo manual y no apretando los botones. No sé si ese sistema será duradero.
