Q: What are the instructions for cleaning? Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes, the silicone mould dishwasher safe,and also you can use the water clear it

Q: Where do you fill to? Do you fill with all parts assembled?

No sure if it’s right but I filled with all parts assembled! You fill until the top bit is full and end up with a large block of ice in the bottom section due to the amount of water required. I broke this up to use when mixing the cocktail I bought it for (old fashioned)

Q: Do you need to use the clear plastic lid as part of the freezing process? The instructions are not at all clear. Thanks

I’ve used the lid, simply to keep any contamination out of the freezing water

Q: Where is this product made?

Out box is the insulated part in polystyrene Then the waterproof soft silicon. Third layer, plastic tray with holes in for the water to drain out. forth layer is the flexible silicon ice mould. Then finally, clear, plastic lid. P.S I use mine all the time works very very well
