Everything in vacuum kit works great. Used it for over a year snf never an issue. Would purchase the kit again but it has not broken. I do not need buy it again or upgrade it it still works like I took it out of the box. Good job engineering team!

For the cost, this is a great little unit !! I love the ability to vacuum seal bulk things like Rice, Flour, cookies and cracker, noodles. Being single I cannot eat a whole box of crackers before they go stale, but sealing them in a jar keeps them fresh until the end. The bags are great for bulk purchases of meat and other items that will be in the freezer. I have yet to find any significant freezer burn on anything I have vacuum packed in these bags. Oh yeah, and its so easy to use !

For what it is, I didn't have high hopes. How much suction power can you expect out of a hand-held vacuum pump? Well this little pump sucks. And I mean that in the best possible way.I decided to sou vide several thick cut pork chops to try the system out for the first time and I was impressed. Once we figured out how to properly seal the bags (the little sealer is there for a reason) we had no issues. The suction power was as good or better than my big counter-top vacuum sealer.The idea of having reusable bags was what truly sold me on this and that's where I knock off a little bit of my enthusiasm.First, the smaller bags are very difficult to clean. It is difficult to get into the corners.Second, the bags aren't really meant for any long-term sealing.I make my own bacon and ham and that's where most of my use of vacuum sealing bags comes in. On the same day that I cooked those chops I started a cure on a slab of Canadian bacon. The next day the bag had lost its seal and I had to redo it. And it doesn't seem to hold a seal for more than a single day. So it looks like I'll still be using my old stand-by for everything *but* sou vide cooking.If you are looking for long term sealing, I would stick with the counter-top sealer. If you are looking for something to just do sou vide cooking, and you are willing to put in the required effort to clean those bags properly, I don't think you'll be at all disappointed with this kit.

This is one way to store your food and freeze it. I use it every day for all my leftovers you save space in your freezer, which was very important for me.

I think this is the best money spent ever. I use it for bagels, meat, nuts and anything else I want to keep fresh! I love it because I can get out a bagel and then reseal the bag, pop it in the freezer till the next time. My husband raises hazelnuts and the bags are great to seal the nuts in and put them in the cupboard or freezer. They do not get rancid.

I bought this in December, but have just had the opportunity to use it for the reason I bought it...to seal jars of dehydrated sourdough.I followed the very limited instructions. It charged for 12 hours with the extremely short cord plugged into a 5V phone charger. Then, I applied the "pump" directly onto the provided cover for the jar as the instruction photo shows, lined it up on the hole and pressed down to eliminate any gaps. I pressed the button... and it does nothing. I even held the button down for 3 seconds, then for 5 seconds, then for 15 seconds (instructions noted to wait for 15 seconds...probably how long it takes to seal, but I tried it anyway to get it to at least START sealing).It comes with a hose to use with a sealer machine, but my sealer doesn't have a place to plug the hose in, so it's not compatible, which makes this tool completely useless.

The media could not be loaded. Packaging raw chicken is so easy. Cheese stays fresh in airtight zip bags. I can keep most of the packaged food in freezer, so I can keep them fresh for long time. Good suction power.

I purchased and used the product after grocery shopping last month. I loved it and thought, what a great buy. I followed the instructions, including wiping the air suction area after every use. I did not use any liquid. After use, I charged the device and put it back in the original box. Last week, I went grocery shopping again. Guess what? The sealer device is not working. I thought it needed charging, although I charged it after I used it last. Nothing! I guess it’s a “one time use” device. I’m really upset.
