Unbeatable
Absolutely delicious. Really unbeatable toasted and slathered with French butter.It’s a lovely nutty and chewy bread with notes of molasses. It’s very dense, squidgy (almost cake-like) and you can see the pressed rye berries on the surface. This is authentic Westphalian pumpernickel(not the Americanised version)To say I am addicted is an understatement. I’ve been consuming slices of this wonderful pumpernickel for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is a major feat of accomplishment as I am a diehard oats fan and this has converted me to toast after the second bite!Really cannot fault it. Will be buying regularly.Note: if you’re concerned about the quantity, the packs are really small (each slice is ~half typical slice of bread) and you’ll get through it pretty quickly

Delicious!
It’s been a while since I had pumpernickel but I think this is better than that I had previously.Soft, crumbly & the perfect accompaniment for your charcuterie.Very tasty.

Only 6 packs delivered!
The Pumpernickel itself was lovely, Moist and perfect flavour. However, only 6 packets were in the box when the advert stated it was for 11 packs of 250g. Total rip off, not happy. Would not trust this seller again!!

One of the best brands of Pumpernickel
When I first visited Germany many years ago, I gradually developed a liking for this type of bread. There are many types of this bread now offered in UK supermarkets or online, usually labelled as ‘German style bread’. They are almost universally awful and although they might look superficially similar to German Pumpernickel, the taste and texture is dismal. This is much better and is real Pumpernickel made in Germany.

AMAZING product. I was a little worried about the "Use by Date - 30.06.2017". I got 22 packs and I live on my own. Having just had two slices I am no longer worried. The slices are excellent quality and I will struggle to stop myself eating more than three packs a week (18 slices, ie 6 slices per pack). Don't just take my word for this - try some. You will NOT be disappointed.
