Okay so of course the decks in here aren't going to compare to a 50£ commander deck but I am actually really surprised. It comes with dice, 1+1 counters, a whole game manual, and 5 60 card decks that are actually pretty good and actually have some really good cards in it. They all have a bit of a theme and work well against each other. So I think for the price this is a great purchase for a beginner, or even someone who's been playing for a while. This made it super easy to break it out with friends and what not. Easy transport and the box is actually quite small, much smaller than I was expecting which I like.

So, one of my kids is obsessed with magic, do I thought this would be a fun way of getting us all in on it...and we did!Word of warning though, play with someone that knows it as otherwise it takes a while to get to gripsAs a game night game, it is great. Nonmessing, no thought required, just pick up the decks and playAfter a few games, it does feel as though certain colours are a bit OP (green, black and red)However, it has converted two more in the house over to the full game, so clearly it is great fun!!

Despite being a beginner/starter product, I found a lot of value in the cards included within the box; speaking of, it is a very nice box. Well packaged overall, with a guide and spindown dice included for each deck. I like the idea of being able to just grab a deck and sit down with your family or friends to play some games.Very nice. If you are interested in starting to play MTG or you just want casual decks for the special occasions, this is a good product for that.

I bought this to play with my friends whilst they learn the game. Fantastic selection of cards and they make a perfect gift.

So you get 5 decks, red deck of dragons and making it easier to summon them. A blue goad deck making your opponents fight each other rather than you. A white equipment deck with a small amount of creatures but the plan is to make them powerful with the equipment and indestructible with an angel creature. The green deck is all elves with one 7/7 creature being the highest in a green deck and a lot of elves that provide mana. The black deck is about sacrifice giving yourself a boon bringing that creature back and doing it again. The d20 dice are nice to use to track your life but, in my opinion the white one is kind of ugly.

Awesome for people of different levels to come together and play a few games or to break into separate decks to bulk out a collection with some good cards very good purchase

Really great value for money and perfect for those wanting to get into MTG or want casual fun with structured decks. Only negative is the box it comes in doesn't fit sleeved cards. So either don't sleeve your cards or sleeve them and buy another set of deck boxes to store them (which is what I have done).

Bought these for my neices to learn Magic.They may be light the mythics. lol ;)
