Delicious Handmade Confectionery

How did you come up with the idea for this product?

Everything started with my passion for sweets. At one particular time in 2013, I realized that I wanted to create a product with better and carefully selected ingredients. I got experimenting with nuts, fruits and chocolate to create something sweet that would not be a mass-produced sugar fix with little nutritional value. Lavolio's signature range of confectionery features quality ingredients encased in a sugar shell. Our caramelised Marrons Glaces share the same obsession about finding the very best ingredients possible to create this delicious range.

What makes your product special?

Lavolio is the perfect gift for anyone with a sweet tooth. It’s a satisfying indulgent treat handmade with the best quality ingredients. We sit right at the opposite end of mass-produced sugar confectionery, in fact all our products are artisan made, gluten-free and delicious. You can actually see that each individual one is one-of-a-kind! We believe in creating the perfect memorable present which not only is beautifully designed but brings you a new, more memorable taste experience.

What has been the best part of your startup experience?

Getting amazing feedback from our customers!!!! And knowing that our confectionery is enjoyed by Royalty, Michelin-starred restaurants, in prestigious establishments such as Fortnum & Mason’s, and in boutique food stores around the world!
