Only useful for those who already are skilled in the garden arts in a tropical environment. Absolutely no information on specific plant requirements or seasonal changes or wintering. All fluff and no substance. Pretty pictures and only the basic general information. Very Disappointed.

The book is used and scuffed, not new
Cute content and I can't wait to use it but I'm a little disappointed that the book appears to be used, not new. It's fairly dirty with a few small and one pretty large scratch on the cover. The corners of the spine are also pretty dinged up. I would've been very disappointed if I had purchased this as a gift. (I have multiple photos but the site glitches when I try to add more than one.)

It is a beautiful way to try to start a bonsai and select even from your existing garden.
I love the way this book is presented and it encourages one to try super mini bonsai. I have and it is thriving from my own garden starts of septum and starts of elm trees in yard. I love this book and have given it as gifts to family and friends. It is inexpensive and well photographed too.

Info too repetitive
The same information was repeated over and over. I was hoping for more precise information and a list of vendors who sell specifically items needed to create super mini bonsai such as pots, soil, moss, etc. this left me very disappointed.
