I bought this neck pillow for my long flights to HI. I really like how this one feels on my neck and I like how easily it conforms to the shape of my neck. The grey color is fantastic and doesn’t show the dirt easily. I like the sturdy clasp it comes with too, but sometimes takes a minute to close. Great size for an adult and very comfortable for flying. After several uses this pillow retained its shape and remained just as comfortable as day one. I have a bad neck and this pillow gives me excellent support whether I’m flying or a car passenger. I even use it when I’m knitting to alleviate any neck tension.

Sitting in my recliner was killing my neck. I tried various sizes/shapes of pillows with different types of fill. But they all made my neck pain worse. I finally decided that a travel pillow that conformed to my neck might solve my problem. This pillow works, but still has some drawbacks First, it has a chemical smell (it seems to be the microbeads, not the fabric that smells). I washed the cover, but I wouldn't suggest washing the whole pillow. If the lining was to tear or split at zipper/seams, those microbeads could cause severe repair issues for your washer/dryer. After washing/drying the cover, I sprayed the whole pillow with Febreze and that toned the smell down enough that I could tolerate it. Second, all of the beads are the same (very small) size. Maybe varying the size of the beads would improve the support. Also, the pillow doesn't have enough beads. Within minutes of use, all of the beads have moved to either end of the pillow leaving your neck in a small valley supported by only a few beads. This requires frequent fluffing to return the beads to the center. I could slit a seam in the lining and add some beads. But, since the liner is made of thin, fragile fabric, I'm afraid that weakening a seam might cause some/all of the beads to escape into the cover. Then I would never be unable to wash the cover again. That's not acceptable because the cover gets dirty rather quickly. Third, when using the strap, the ends of the pillow have the tendency to pop up in front of your face, making reading or TV watching difficult. I've stopped using the straps and have resigned myself to be a frequent fluffer. The cover is soft and, before the beads have migrated, the pillow is comfortable. You'll have to judge for yourself whether another pillow might work better for you.

Disappointed with Samsonite. This pillow is very soft and the microbeads idea was perfect (I am not a fan of foam filling for a travel pillow). But the size(too low profile) and the long strap don’t work for sleeping.

Love this! Microbeads are so much better than a solid pillow. Easy to arrange the beads to adjust the neck support, firmness and height for different comfort levels. Truly the best neck support pillow I've ever used. Will be buying another one.

This Samsonite Microbead 3-in-1 Neck Travel Pillow was PERFECT. Simple, comfortable and felt great. I use it for resting on the couch.

I like to sleep with this long pillow. The beads inside can be squished down to a shape that is comfortable whether I’m sleeping on my back or side. I find I fight with standard pillows and they interferes with my sleep.

Bead filling are super teeny but is comfy. Do not like that the length is too long, head still jerks forward so you’ll need to turn this pillow backwards with the snap lock towards the back of your neck. Samsonite - you should look into sewing metal snaps onto the ends of the pillow for a more tighter fit instead of the extended snap strap or offer different lengths if you plan to keep those extended snap straps.

I've had a couple of neck pillows in the past (mainly to use when flying) and found that they were too big/uncomfortable for me. I'm small in stature (4'10") so the thickness of many neck pillows are just too big and I wind up with a sore neck when I get home. Took this one recently on a couple of 5-hr flights, and it was perfect. This one is very malleable, you can adjust the pillow's thickness the way you want to suit your needs. And the clip on the pillow makes it easy to tote as well...I attached mine to my purse straps so I wouldn't have to physically carry it through the airport. Very comfortable, a great purchase! (Only drawback I had with it....when I finally arrived home and put my purse on the living room floor, my over-excitable border collie spotted the pillow - still attached to purse - and thought he'd lucked out with a new stuffy toy, purchased just for him, and he began attempting to pry it loose. I had to persuade my semi-spoiled companion that no, the neck pillow was not for him. But for the few moments he had it, he loved it.)
