Bought dry my ragdoll kitten she could not keep still with hairdryer so bought this Petkit dryer put her in for 30 minutes and was almost dry didn’t put on high just on 36 and fan 2 speed has not used to it yet and came out nice and fluffy also you can control with app also you got download app first and plug in dryer then it picks the dryer up it’s then ready to go and you can use the app on just controls on the dryer it’s very easy to use

We have show cats and we offer shower and dry them when they are going to shows. Drying a cat is never an easy task as many gets extremely nervous from the noise. I tried the pet Airsalon on our most anxious Maine Coon who would not have a second of hair drying and she tolerates it extremely well :) she was dry before the preset programme ended! I like the option to choose from 3 presets or choose my personalised function. Very easy to set up and use the cabin and our cats don’t mind drying in there, they don’t feel cold anymore after bath :)

Haven't tried the dryer yet but Petkit is great and I think it is a trustworthy brand for a pet dryer since it could be potentially dangerous. Packaging was adequate and it came in one piece. I would recommend it.

The pet dryer arrived safely, and it comes nicely packed inside a large sturdy box. Some people might find it a little awkward to get the dryer out of the box and you might need an extra hand with it. The dryer comes with a UK mains power lead.The quality of the dryer is fantastic, it both looks and feels like a premium device and everything about it is well made. Its weighty and very sturdy, the metal hinges on the door look strong and durable, the door catch is solid and provides a nice clunk when you close the door, the touch panel works great, you get a decent filter on the intake, soft rubber feet on the base, and in general I’m very pleased with the quality of it.We have two domestic long haired cats, and the back of our garden has a river running through it with muddy banks, so our cats always get dirty and need to be cleaned on a near daily basis. The washing part is easy but neither of them like being towel dried so I thought this drier would be a brilliant solution. My one cat has no problem at all with it but the other kicks up a bit of a fuss, so I haven’t used it with her.Its pretty much ready to go straight out of the box, all you need to do is plug it in, switch it on, and download the PETKIT app to finish setting it up. I really like the app as it works really well and I find it very similar to my washing machines app in both looks and function. It found the air dryer straight away and after giving it a name it was ready to use. Once setup you can either use the app or operate the dryer directly from the control panel, obviously using the app gives you more control and it features some preloaded dryer settings depending on how quickly or calmly you want to dry your pet as well as display things like the time remaining, inside temperature and humidity.Even on the highest air speed the dryer isn’t very loud, certainly a lot quieter than a hair dryer (around 59dB according to my phone) and it surprised me by how powerful the air speed can get, your pet literally has its own hair salon! The warm air comes from the bottom of the dryer and circulates round to make sure all areas of your pet becomes dry. The drier features a removable baseplate for easy cleaning and under the baseplate is a drain plug to get rid of any water after use. The size of the interior is generous, and it easily accommodates my 4.2kg cat.Some extra features I really like are the interior light which helps to make the inside of the dryer feel more spacious and open, and the petting window at the top so you can comfort your pet while its drying if needed. The ventilation on the sides is also a good design and helps to keep the air fresh on the inside, and removing pet hairs from it is super easy. The dryer also has good built-in safety features like overheat protection and precise temperature monitoring to ensure your pet isn’t harmed.After washing my cat I briefly towel dry her to get the excess water off and then put her into the drier for 20 minutes at 39 degrees C. She comes out almost completely dry, just her tail is sometimes a little damp depending on where she places it in the dryer. Since using the dryer, it definitely feels like my cats hair is more silkier and looks really healthy. She seems to really enjoy being in there as she either spends most of her time cleaning herself or just lies down to chill out. It’s a shame my other cat isn’t so keen on it but she’s always been overly careful with anything and is getting on in age now and doesn’t like change.Overall, I think these dryers are a brilliant idea and this one from PETMAX is fantastic, not only is it excellent quality but it performs really well and leaves your pets hair feeling dry and silky smooth. A dryer like this obviously comes at a price but if you can get it for around £550-600 then I feel it represents good value for money for what you are getting. It’s a much better way than getting covered in hairs and wrestling your pets to towel dry them!It’s a product I’m more than happy to recommend and I feel its easily worth the full five stars, buy with full confidence!

As a Persian/Exotic Cat show breeder i purchased this dryer to assist with drying . Its a fantastic piece of kit ! . Great for drying the semi long haired or short haired in around 60-90mins . Those with a bigger persian show coat its not really great for a good finish and doesn't fully dry all areas ,knotting the undercoat up so you lose alot of volume combing it out .. hence i knocked 1 star off giving 4 /5 ⭐.Cats do need a little reassurance when first used as its a whole new experience and this is where the top opener is great to pet them until they adjust which doesn't take long . Its extremely quiet when on, you can hardly hear it. Very easy to wipe over and clean afterwards & the majority of my cats were relaxed enough to lie down & almost fall asleep in it . The controls are easy to use although a booklet on settings guidance would have been an advantage.I would definitely recommend this product for short haired & semi longhaired cats .
