Medaille d’Or Oiled Leather Cream with Neatsfoot Oil for Nourishing and Water Repellence

This product smells wonderful. I put a too thick layer on my Dooney & Bourke handbag and matching wallet but it buffed right out and lost that milky look. It did take several days to dry to a nice, lovely sheen that didn't feel gummy but then like I said, I really overdid it. I don't think there's anything better in the world than this creamy oil. Kudos to the French.

This Saphir Medaille d’Or Oiled Leather Cream is hands down one of the best treatments I’ve used for my oiled leather boots and bags. The formula, enriched with Neatsfoot oil, penetrates deeply and revives the leather without leaving a greasy finish. I used it on a pair of Red Wing boots that were starting to dry out, and the difference was immediate. The leather became supple, rich in color, and slightly darkened (as expected) — but in a way that enhanced the natural grain. It also added a noticeable water-repellent layer without making the leather overly shiny or sticky. A little goes a long way, and the scent is mild and pleasant. If you care about preserving your investment pieces and want to maintain the look and longevity of your oiled leather, this cream is a must-have. Highly recommend for serious leather lovers!

Bought it to refurbish a scone hand nubuck leather briefcase. Did a great job, restoring colour evenly and getting rid of light scratches. Deeper scratches fade, but remain. Doesn’t leave a greasy residue or scent. A good investment to extend the appearance and look of nubuck.

I JUST got these new Oiled Leather Birkenstocks and I KID YOU NOT, the very next day, I spilled balsamic vinaigrette onto them 💀 I was so distraught, thought they were ruined! Then ChatGPT recommended this Saphir cream. I was a bit apprehensive about putting it right onto the spilt dressing… but, I was DESPERATE, so I reluctantly rubbed the cream into my ruined Birks… GIRLLLLL! They look like the Balsamic Vinaigrette debacle NEVER EVEN HAPPENED! It works SO WELL, makes my Birks look practically brand new (but, I mean they kind of are lol) overall a GREAT product! For the money, I would definitely recommend buying! It’s literally magic!! First two pics are the before and the last two are the after! P.S. the product smells like HEAVEN!

クレム1925(ニュートラル)、スペシャルナッパデリケートクリーム、そして今回オイルドレザーと購入してきました。 クレム1925は落ち着いた良い匂いの香水 スペシャルナッパデリケートクリームは汗をかいた後の頭皮、生乾きの服に甘さを足した感じ オイルドレザーは杏仁豆腐 シープスキンに関しては一番シミになりにくいスペシャルナッパデリケートクリームでもシミになるので注意して欲しいです。 完成して届いたばかりのオーダーメイドの手袋(茶色)で使用して泣きを見たのでね。 このオイルドレザーはクレム1925とは違って塗布後に磨いても艶が全くでません。 本当に保湿・保革の効果が一番なのだと思います。 マットな質感を維持したい商品にはうってつけの商品です。 匂いはまんま杏仁豆腐ですが、クレム1925やスペシャルナッパデリケートクリームと違い、 革に塗ってから数分後には革の匂いに落ち着きます。

新品の本革ボディーバッグのお手入れ用に購入。塗り込んでも変な艶を出さないというのがポイント。新品の皮革そのまんまの艶感を保ちながらサラッとした手触りが与えられます。 カサついた皮革には適度な艶が戻ります。 試しに何年も使い続けてる財布を手入れしてみてびっくり、 めちゃくちゃ汚れが落ちる。 長年の手垢や脂でしょう、タオルがまっ茶色に！ 汚れを落としきった頃には本来の艶が蘇りました。 汚れを落とし、本来のマットな艶を取り戻せる良い商品でした。

マットな仕上がりがいいです。光らせたい方にはお勧めしません。
