After reading reviews and seeing for myself, I wonder if some of these people can even make a slice of toast. It comes out of the box assembled and all you have to do is screw the spigot on snug and pull your 3 trays apart to fill them. It’s plenty sturdy even with 2/3 trays filled with peat moss, compost, apple slices, and 750-1,000 wigglers.

The value would have been decent had the thing been usable. Sadly, mine had a mis-manufactured spigot that could not be screwed in. It was not worth attempting to drill or fix after the fact because plastic is challenging to work with, and I could not have made it water tight. I was optimistic about it but it's a pain to have to open everything, get excited about it and then have to waste gasoline to return a faulty product. I would steer clear unless you want a bunch of worm goo on your floor lol.

what gets 5 stars--1. product is well built2. Comes with a set of tools ( garden) and coconut/coir brick3. the valve/spigot fits well with gaskets to stop leakage.4. Easy to assemble ( how difficult is to palce 3 trays on the top of each other and screw a spigot)What gets 1 star1. Instruction quality- it is literally useless- you cannot make head or tail of what is written and how to make it work ( you go back to product images to figure out the concept)2. I would go to the extent of saying that it is not worth even 1 star.Note: If you pay attention, out of the 3 trays- two trays are named "A" and other "B"- but that is not easy to see unless you pay attention.- not quite thrilled about it.What gets 3 stars1. Easy to use and worms do very well

I was a little leery about purchasing this product as the price felt to good to be true. But the product is extremely well thought out and very sturdy. I think it's a great deal.

Does not come with products required to use - mainly Coconut Coir. Instructions are not very user friendly. Would purchase a different unit in the future.

I ordered this because I love being organic especially when it comes to my garden. This is suppose to use worms and a three layer system to create liquid fertilizer. It seems to be made of cheap plastic and not very sturdy. Also there are some things that are needed besides the worms, that should have come with this compost bin. For the price of this bin it should come with the coconut husk and worm paper so that all you have to do is buy worms.
