You have to unscrew a cover to charge the battery or swap it out for the spare one.You have to unscrew the 4 wheels to change them into a track and then do four screws up again.6 year old boy loves it! Easy to operate!

We bought this for our grandson (age 5). It is quite good, especially for the money, and having two batteries included means that there is a good 40 minutes of play time available in one session, which should be good enough before boredom begins to set in, but just be warned, it is not very easy to control and will require some patience to get anywhere with it, because there is no fine control on either the throttle or the steering, they are just simple switches, so the speed is all-or-nothing, and the steering is also straight or full lock, nothing in between. Outside in a large garden or large driveway or car park, this is not such a problem. Trying to use it inside the house is much more problematic unless you live in a mansion, because you touch the throttle and the car zooms off and smashes in to the nearest wall/door/cupboard/chair/pet/grandparent before you can blink. I am talking about me here testing it, we haven't given it to him yet! And yes, I am reasonably competent with rc toys.

Loads to like about this little car. It stomps around my garden happily, charging through grass (though gets a bit stuck on long grass) and over kerbs and stones. When it gets stuck, the pair of wheels on the stuck side rotate on a big arm, which allows it to step over (or bounce off) obstacles.My hopes weren't high despite the positive reviews, but I have been pleasantly surprised with how competent it feels. Not sure about durability long term, but it feels solid and has survived pretty rough driving so far. The extra battery makes a big difference as it gives you about half an hour of driving, which is loads. Little headlights (white and green) are nice too.I don't think I'll be changing to the tracks again, as the screws are relatively stiff so it's a bit of a pain to do (one screw per wheel) and the four wheel arrangement gets over almost everything that the tracks do. Still, it's nice to have the option.Only thing I don't like is that the power is either on or off. The two sticks control the left and right wheels respectively, so you turn by releasing one of them. So you can't go slowly or turn gently, though when you're moving at speed you can adjust direction relatively easily by releasing one lever briefly.

Good car, battery life very short but fun to use

The media could not be loaded.  A simple to use well made remote control car that's great for stunts and use on most terrain. The controller is comfy to hold and has two joysticks to control either side of the car, if you want to turn one way you apply more acceleration on the opposite side, to do a spin accelerate in opposite directions, flips can also be achieved by suddenly stopping and going a different direction. It's really fun to use and quick to master all the stuns. The car works both ways so even after a flip it keeps going. The wheels design means they can climb over raised terrain so this combined with its flipping ability makes it great for use on uneven surfaces. The battery life is excellent and you get a lot of use out of it. This is a great toy and enjoyable for most ages. A really good toy.

Bought it for my son, its good until battery last, i used energizer long lasting, and it did last only for 1 hr or so. It would have been better with USB rechargeable battery. Otherwise product is good with this price.

Car is simple to use, very fast, good fun and good value for money

I'm a 50 year old, who has never owned a remote controlled car, so thought I'd take a punt on this, as I loved the design, and for a couple of quid shy of £20, it wouldn't matter if I didn't get on with it.After charging both batteries, I gave it a spin on the quiet lane that I live on, and boy was I impressed. The speed was amazing, the remote was very responsive, and the car managed muddy puddles with no issues at all. It managed the back garden too, and I thoroughly enjoyed messing around with it.My sons also highly rated the car, and I will probably get them one each for Christmas(they're 23 & 25 years old).

Great remote control car. However, the word failing would be battery life is only about 15 minutes.

Not as good as my previous £20 price range car. Battery life is short, definitely need both batteries. Batteries come as pack with weird socket. Would be better if you could use regular rechargeable batteries.Motor isn't very powerful, really struggled on short grass.Canopy is held on by three plastic covers that are too easily removed. For this reason I would say not suitable for small children.Remote control is good and other than the canopy the car is durable and can withstand moderate abuse.

Wow, all I can say is that I’m amazed to be able to get such a great product for such a good price, the car is fast and has an incredible range you could drive it up and down your street and still be at your door truly an amazing product and worth my money. It is also really fun playing with it inside as the wheels rapidly spin causing it to drift I really am enjoying the product. It’s very durable and can withstand crashes and tumbles I am truly impressed, the aim of this product was for my kids to be on fewer electronics; that worked the minute it came they were obsessed straight away, and the price is perfect for an electric car

This looked good and was until the day after opening it. The tires first stopped working meaning you couldn't turn left or right, then it just stopped completely not turning on or anything. Can no longer return it since it was a gift. :(

Nice little car. Not easy to break. The battery life in the actual car is terrible though. Only lasts a few hours. (Note: batteries were not included. I used the best batteries available. Rechargeable).

I bought this car for my 8yo son. We did expect something bigger but it's ok, especially for not a big price. Product is supplied with two batteries so more fun last longer. I was suppriced that my son prepared the car for ride by himself. I was expecting some problems with battery connector but looks there is well constructed. The car is well recponding for controls and it is quite fast. Car motor is slightly noisy so better to go outside - I am taking this as pros :-)Summarised, this is good product for it's money. Have fun.

As a present its very disappointing . Battery life barely lasts 10 minutes and thats on a 4 hour + charge .Its not the most expensive of RC cars but we did expect better than this . 2 mins of use and the car wouldnt turn only just go back and forth .
