Great little reminder aide
I discovered Rachel during lockdown and really enjoyed learning all about Pilates and it’s benefits during her online zoom sessions. She is truly an inspiring person and great teacher and makes you feel good about what you can achieve. Lovely little book to have to refer back to and take anywhere with you.

What a gem
I have been following the progress of this amazing lady since I found her on you tube during lock down and this book is like having Rachel accessible at any time. I can hear her speaking and encouraging me as I do the exercises. I have recommended her channel to many friends around the world and I would certainly have no hesitation to recommend this 'little book' of Rachel to you. Enjoy and be healthy people x

Good overview of Pilates without being dull. Would recommend to beginners and more exercise Pilates practitioners.

A Great Way to check your pilates posture
I have followed Rachel's YouTube classes for three years now. She is an inspirational, supportive and optimistic pilates instructor who encourages you to try and keep trying to reap the rewards of pilates. I am certainly in much better shape at 65 than when I started. This little book is a great way of studying positions and particular exercises for specific benefits and conditions. Recommended for all ages!

Easy to follow
I follow Rachel on YouTube and this book is perfect for ensuring I’m doing the exercises right. I’m going to take it on holiday with me for when I haven’t got Wi-Fi just to remind myself of the exercises

Great intro to Pilates for all
I was already a big fan of the author's YouTube channel, The Girl With the Pilates Mat - Rachel has got such fantastic knowledge from years as a top level Pilates instructor, and this book brings it all together in a way that is clear and easy to understand. It's a small size (you could pop it in your handbag or gym bag) but it packs a lot in, from the history of Pilates to examples of exercises for all levels. Rachel has also demonstrated all of the exercises on her YouTube channel so you can see exactly what to do from the comfort of your own home. You will get a lot out of this whether you're a complete beginner or a more advanced Pilates person, and even more so if you read it alongside doing the YT videos.

A handy book for both novices & experienced Pilates practitioners
A well written and enjoyable book on the Pilates basics. Great to read periodically to revise the principles to ensure perfect practice, so suitable for novices to more experienced practitioners.

Great pilates information
I have been doing Rachel's videos for nearly 2 years and my neck and back pain have improved so much. She is so inspirational and motivational. This little book explains all of the exercises and breathing and techniques and a history of how pilates began Wish I had found her years ago
