Great mouse with exaggerated build quality issues
I already own the black version of the Venator and gave it five stars in my review - it's great. I liked the look of the white version too. This is the original Venator before Ninox addressed certain manufacturing issues in the black version.I think this version looks better than the black version but the question was would I be able to live with any quality issues. The good news is I can. It had been widely reported that the mouse creaks when squeezed. Mine does too but not as I expected. It isn't the sides that creak but the top. In play I never notice it.It was also reported that there was a lot of pre and post travel on the main left and right buttons. My black version has none - it probably has the tightest click of any mouse I own. This white version has some pre travel but it is not particularly noticeable - if I hadn't heard of it I would not have realised. The cable has come in for criticism - it is a little inflexible but not bad in my opinion, particularly in a bungee. The scroll wheel rattles but scrolls fine so is not an issue. I personally don't think the feet are very good. On my black version I swapped them for four Hyperglides designed for the Intellimouse 3.0. These feet fit any mouse and give a superb glide so I'll put them on the white version too.All my other comments regarding the black version still hold. This is a very comfortable, light mouse. The closest mouse I have to it's "feel" is probably the Zowie ZA13 which I think is a superb mouse. The 3360 sensor tracks excellently and the lighting is more customisable than most plug and play mice.I can fully recommend this mouse - the build quality issues have been exaggerated I think.Hope this helpsP.s. I never thought the feet on these were any good (I have remembered to take off the plastic film by the way). However after playing with this on my Zowie GTF-X pad for few days the feet seem to have "worn in" or polished up somehow and glide great. You also get two spare sets in the box. I've decided I like the look of the white Venator more than the black so have just ordered another for my spare rig.

Still not worth in 2021
Great ZA-12 inspired shape, great sensor, mouse skates are pretty smooth, main button clicks are okay, scroll wheel is good, and scroll click is good too. Side buttons are not that great. Rubber cable is surprisingly flexible. BUT THE ONE FATAL FLAW IS THE BUILD QUALITY. The painted white shell comprised of very thin plastic is so thin that there are sections where the rgb light shines THROUGH the material. The mouse creaks during use and honestly feels like I could crush or crack the shell if squeezed. The internals (scrollwheel mainly) rattle when the mouse is given a shake. I saw older reviews of this product and hoped the issues had been fixed by now, but no. Even at £25 I'd say look elsewhere, the Roccat Burst Core is constructed 10x better and better in almost every aspect (except maybe the cable) and costs the same. What a shame, this mouse could have been 5 stars if not for the QC issues.

CSGO a Go Go
I own quite a few mice and currently rock the Zowie FK2 as my primary weapon of choice. I seem to be always on the outlook for the next best peripheral for my CSGO habit....Stumbling (accidently) across the Ninox Venator, I found myself quite interested in the specifications therefor I happily Next Day'ed the little mouse. It promptly arrived the very next day well packaged with the added bonus of not 1 but 2 extra mouse feet! Never seen that before and would be nice if Razer or Logitech did something similar (yeah right). Its also a little shorter in length than the FK2 and the whole mouse experience easily translated for a really good fingertip grip for my preferred handling and subsequent dispatching of my CSGO counterparts. It should be noted that it also has a little more hump at the rear than the FK2 for those that prefer palm or hybrid grips too.Overall I am very pleased with the quality & feel of this mouse and in the short time I have been using it on CSGO, my aim has really improved :)Edit: Dropped a star after having to fix the poorly made wheel a second time with tape.
