Really good
Plastic, cheap and not sure if it would last in a pro kitchen. But for home cooking this is great. The temperature probe plugs into the base unit one end and the other into the meat in the oven. The cable does not interfere with the doot closing. The hand held wireless unit has decent range and appears to be pretty accurate. I've used this to roast some large and small liumps of meat and each time the result has been as expected. Very pleased.

Useless
Don’t buy, I know you get what you pay for so I wasn’t expecting much from this thermometer, maybe a few months or so what I actually got was 4 hours !!!I was doing pulled pork on the BBQ which requires around an 8-10 hours on the grill. To begin with the thermometer seemed to be working ok, you can set your own target temperature and all was ticking along nicely after around 4 hours it started beeping at me and under the current temp reading it’s just showing HHH I have re set it multiple times and getting nothing else from it it’s being returned and I will invest in a decent one.

Stopped working in the middle of first cook.
Poor range, annoying beep on button press that can’t be muted and unfortunately stopped working in the middle of the first use - froze at 136 F internal temp and then went bananas saying the internal temp was 572F and started giving an alarm every 30 seconds - good to know the alarm works if the temp goes above your desired value - shame the reading was inaccurate and the whole unit went into a cycle of errors ruining a pork shoulder. Get what you pay for sometimes!

Great little gadget
I bought this meat thermometer to get the best tasting meat for my BBQ. It is so simple to use and works really well. I like the fact that it has pre set meats to make it easy for me to useI wasn't sure at the low price but its an amazing gadget for my home.Would recommend this product to other!

Totally useless
The idea and design of the product is fine, however it just did not work after the first time of use, instead of the reading the temperature it just continues to beep and has had to be returned

Good idea but..........
Good design concept but, unfortunately, after the first use it failed to read. Displaying 300' and beeping. Even a reset did not fix. Returning item and sourcing a better product.

Nice piece of kit for the price
Nice piece of kit for the price. Display is nice and clear, easy to see even in bright sunlight. Instructions, although short and sweet, do the job. Had it set up and running, looking after a BBQ brisket, in no time. No need to spend a fortune when kit like this is available.
