Good purchase
Very easy to assemble and my little one loves this. He has autism and loves this as he’s got a little get away and finds it very calming with his sensory lights. It was a good purchase

Came with rips on seams letting light in
In theory a lovely item but it came with ripped seams letting light through and also the part to thread the pole through on the top was ripped half way along. Not worth the money for a totally damaged item.

Great idea
Excellent idea for some autistic children. If your child likes to have their own dark time then this is a great idea. Easy to set up and can be taken camping etc.

A little girl's favourite place....
My 4-year-old niece with sensory needs loves being in enclosed spaces and this sensory tent is right up her street. It’s a total blackout tent which is good for regulation, but we’ve also added some sensory lights. It’s her favourite place to go to play or read at the minute. She has asked to sleep in it she loves it so much. It's dead easy to assemble—I will say that the first one to arrive, one of the locators for the roof bar just detached, but the vendor replaced it without any hassle at all. Top customer service. Folds down into a small, portable case so easy to take with you on travels. The only negative is that it is a little over-priced.

Not great, but autistic child recipient likes it and plays in it
There are a lot of negatives for this tent, but one big positive is that the 5-year-old autistic child this was given too really likes it and despite him being almost non-verbal, he shouts “house, house” whenever he is around it. I thought the darkness is something he would like, but according to the parents, he keeps the door open on it, so maybe not. He is just above average size for his year, but he has enough room inside to sit and play with his selected toys. I would say in about 18 months he would be too big for it. It is easy to set up, it practically pops into place and then you thread a foldable bar through a sleeve in the roof and Velcro it into place. Forget folding it back into the travel bag, it folds flat, but we can’t work out the last twist to get it into a smaller circle, though not an issue as it stays up as it is in daily use. That is about it for the positives. At £50 (current price), it is extortionate for what it is. It isn’t a total black out, but it is much darker inside than other play tents we have had – that may or may not be a negative depending on your needs. Having a silvered interior, it acts as a bit of a heat reflector and it gets very sweaty inside. If you have a child that does want to hide away inside with door down, you would be wise to monitor them as children cannot regulate body temperature like adults and they could overheat.Personally, I wouldn’t buy it and I think other play tents would do the job and at half the price, but I have to give it some credit for the enjoyment it has had so far.

90cm Sensory Tent
So the description states this is a:-Sensory Tent, Calm down tent for children to play and relax, sensory corner. Helps With autism, SPD, anxiety & improve focus. Black out sensory tents for autistic children ~ Small. This Black out pop up tent is delivered in a little round bag, knowing as soon as you open that bag it's going to pop up into shape. The thing is the center pole has to be fixed in place and already there is a small hole from where you got to stretch to get it in.Having a autistic little one, everyday is a learning curve. Knowing they like there teepee I thought this maybe a step better because of it being a black out and that lights will look better within. So we popped there light projector inside, that way the whole tent is lit up with your own light choice, can alter the colours and the brightness.Only thing is with it, it is a bit like cooking a turkey, because of the internal is reflective heat, so they can't stay in it too long, but when they are in there, we always give them there drinks bottle. This definitely has its good and bad points…The price is high at £49.99 at the time of this review. I would hope for better attention to detail, with such a high price tag. With it already having a hole I'm hoping it's not just going to get bigger, only time will tell.So far I'm 50/50But I will update this review if needed*** Detail's:- * Brand:- ODOXIA * Size:- 90 cm * Weight:- 953g * Blackout tent
