I initially got one of these 80mm Thermalright fans to replace on a CPU cooler. I was happy with that one, and now got another as exhaust fan for the same case. I've bought 4 Thermalright fans altogether now, and very satisfied for the cost.

Does what it’s designed to do, it spins and moves air. I wish they could daisy chain, since the only real application for 80mm case fans is in small PC cases, and micro ATX/mini ITX boards only have 2-3 fan connections. If you’re buying these, you know what they do, and hopefully how many connections you have vs how many you need. I hooked 2 of these up to a fan hub connected to one of the chassis fan headers on my MB, and they work fine. No wobble or noticeable noise. Not the quietest fans I’ve ever used but not noisy by any means. If you want 80mm white case fans, these are basically your only option. Paired nicely with my ThermalTake Core V1 mini ITX case.

Needed these for a HDD cage and they work great, they are pwm so you can adjust them to your liking. They have good static pressure so pulling air through a restricted area works well. Cables are sleeved in white to match so points given for attention to detail.

Bought for my milsbo greenhouse cabinet. Keeps the air moving, can't hear a peep. Attached with magnets.Perfect!

I bought several of these fans, even though I’ve read complaints about their reliability. My decision was between the Thermalright TL-B8 and the Noctua NF-R8. I own a Noctua and even though it’s very quiet, it doesn’t push that much air at all. The fan blades of the Thermalright TL-B8 are much better, and it’s all around a much better fan with the noise level being very similar. I’ve bought many Thermalright products before and all have been high quality. If a fan breaks prematurely then I’ll update my review, but honestly I’ve read bad things about the Noctua NF-R8 too. Noctua has really good fans, but the NF-R8 isn’t one of them, go with the Thermalright TL-B8 instead and you’ll be happier.

I bought 2 of these in 2023 Oct, today it is 2024 Aug. They are making squealing and scratching sounds. Looks like the bearings in them have died. I would not recommend this to anyone. I have other thermalright fans which work fine (120mm)

plugged in and tested before mounting glad i did it spun for 2 seconds then stopped,spun it with my finger started for 2 seconds and stopped no good right out of the box.
