Pros:-supports the weight of my 18-19lb cat without any concerns-the expandable portion packs up neatly; the netting twists and zips into place while the fleece bottom attaches via velcro when in the down position and has a separate zipper to keep it in the up position while you situate the netting portion-carrier is more spacious than expected for my 20 inch catCons:-the bottom support board digs into your back when carrying the cat in backpack mode and is uncomfortable even for short distances-Carrier had strong chemical smell-the zippers on the carrier are counterintuitive; while both the front and back of the backpack come completely off, when placing the cat in, it was hard to zip up as you had to zip toward the floor and along the floor before zipping up to enclose the cat. Needing to zip the carrier up under the cat’s weight while keeping the cat in the carrier was difficult.

One part did break under no pressure - the leash link fell right off. But the intent to use this is for Macaw transport. Our boy has no issue chickening his way in (if you need to, sneak up from behind and gently push him in beak first).With his long tail, we open up the front and ride with him in a seat with no issue!

It said it would fit up to 30lbs and a medium sized dog. It did not
