I bought this as I already had the original Splendour, this game is different enough to feel like a new game but with the same easy to play rules as the original. My kids love it more as it is Marvel, well worth a buy I highly recommend

Splendor is a nice, easy-to-learn game that you can play either really quickly or take your time and plan out your strategy and not feel too mentally fatigued afterwards.As a concept, it's a really well balanced resource management game like 7-Wonders Duel and suites strategies of any play style. Splendor does not exclusively reward or penalize aggressive or passive play but rather, how your approach performs against your opponent's!Want it on the go? All the pieces and cards fit into a zip lock bag for a quick round at a café or pub.

best board game ever and for everybody. it might be a little hard to learn the game but as soon as you learn it , you can't stop playing. the quality of the chips are great as well. the cards might get a little born out after a while but still. this is the best gift for anyone into board games.

Most of the game is same as the original, and the changes in the rules for the end are just clunky and have people running for the rulebook near the end trying to remember all the various end conditions.That said, the artwork is great, the tokens are solid - no complaints at all about the quality of the build.
